Guam: Day 3

 Everywhere I look, there's nothing but peace and relaxation. We went to Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort and their facilities are amazing.

 (Goody hair tie, H&M sunnies, Chiz top/ bag/ shorts, House of Luxe bangle, Crocs flats)

Chiz clothes are so comfortable to wear! The top and shorts I wore were perfect for my trip to Guam because the fabric's so thin, not making me feel sticky the entire day. Oh, and did I mention that the bag is the lightest bag I've ever owned? Undeniably spacious inside. It's the perfect traveling bag! 

 We went to Tumon Sands Plaza (TSP) to do more shopping, but we were given a presentation first of the latest trends and the must buys inside TSP. Look at this beautiful limited Tiffany & Co. cuff. 

 You'll be seeing a lot of burgundy/ maroon colors from now on- they told me it's the latest trend tone. Here are the models for BCBG showcasing the latest clothes from their F/W collection. Love the black and white dress!

 LOVE. If only I can afford to buy all these bags. 

 Nakikisali sa uso ang Crocs flats ko! It's not burgundy, but at least they're of the same shade. Haha. 

 I practically wanted to buy all BCBG items. Here's a pic of Nina, David and I goofing around with their super cute accessories.

 Join us at Joinus! Haha. Okay, corny. We ate at Joinus Restaurant (also found inside TSP). I love tappanyaki! The food was absolutely indulging.  Ugh, now I'm getting hungry again. We pretended it was David Milan's birthday and his reaction was priceless when all the waiters started singing beside him!!!

 We had dinner at Sheraton Resort and watched a performance by the Polynesian dance group. The show was so entertaining- but I wasn't prepared for someone to pull me to the stage and make me join the hula competition! I was so game though and I'm proud to say that I won. Hahaha. I got LEI-ed! 

 Their version of the little black book. The Plaza gives you this little book so you'll know the best restaurants to go to, best shopping places, etc. 

 Such cool paintings on the walls. Hafa Adai- it's their version of "hello" and everywhere you go you'll hear people say it. Everyone's so friendly in Guam!

 At Winelution. If you're a wine drinker- you'll definitely find this place your home. 

I also heard that you have to try Hot Diggity Dog's hotdog.

A 'must do' when I return back to Guam. Everyday was a memorable experience! I spent my last few hours in Guam at the beach and just stared at the view for like 30 minutes. It's really a place where you can relax and unwind. Memories I truly won't forget. BMS. 

Guam: Day 2

And I'm all set to go around Guam again. Guam is such a lovely place to go to- both for relaxing and partying! Our first stop of the day: Agat Bay. We had our own boat! Naks! We went dolphin hunting/ watching and snorkeling.

 All the underwater photos were taken by our tour guide using Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX20. Crazy, right? He literally went in every corner taking photos of sea creatures. I can't even explain what I felt when I was snorkeling. It was as if I were part of an underwater documentary. I also used my Sony Xperia Acro to shoot a video just so you guys can see what I saw underwater. It was so funny because the instructor shouted so loud when I jumped off the boat with my camera! I was laughing so hard because he thought it wasn't water resistant so he was panicking. Here's the video:

Did you hear a sound by the end of the video? I though I was bitten by a fish that's why I stopped the video hahaha!

 After lunch, we went back to the hotel to freshen up then we went on a tour to see historical places in Guam. Here's Nina Espiritu taking photos.

 The Chocolate House (also known as a Summer House) served as a social meeting place within the Plaza Garden. It's right beside the Governor's house where they served chocolate back in the days.

 Just look how old this wall crest is! It hasn't been touched since then.

A latte (or a pillar)- is a symbol of the Chamorro culture. It was used as building supports by ancient Chamorros.

 We also went to the Hagatna Heritage Walking Trail. Such a beautiful view.

I also had dinner at Taste in Westin Resort hosted by Joann Camacho of Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB). I had such a great time meeting people from GVB and it was also my first time reuniting with my uncle Emelio Uy. He's such a loving and wonderful man! 

 We also went to Chamorro Village. It only happens every Wednesday in Guam so imagine how packed it was when we went there! They sell food, drinks and all kinds of cool stuff like these.

 We were also lucky enough to watch a hula show. Look at the pretty girls! It's such a cool area to go to if you want to find unique pieces and watch entertaining programs.

Guam: Day 1

 Imagine waking up and the first thing you see is this view? Breathtaking. Relaxing. Wonderful. This was my view for four days when I was in Guam. We stayed at Aurora Resorts Spa and I had a balcony of my own so every chance I get, I'd go sit outside and just stare at the view. 

 We arrived in Guam around 5:30am mafia style. complete with the overstretched limo and some bubbly chilled waiting for us. As if lang the latter is inexistent. there were glsss but no bubbly. but we decided to play around, since the feel of the limo called for it. 

 Once we checked in the hotel, we took a short nap and then started our day. First stop: Underwater World. It was my first time seeing a shark too. I took at least a hundred photos of all the amazing sea creatures I saw. So sad I won't be able to post everything here.  

 Jellyfish. It travels up and down the water column, like an aquatic elevator . 

 Moray eels. Just look at the eyes. They might look dangerous but they rarely bite humans and are not aggressive by nature. I enjoyed reading all the description of all the sea creatures I saw. It was like I was in another dimension when I was inside the Underwater World. What an experience. 

 Lunch time! We ate at Sea Grill restaurant. Too bad I wasn't able to take a photo of the yummy steak we had. I was too excited to eat it haha. 

 The moment I've been waiting for: SHOPPING TIME! We went to DFS Galleria and I died. It's tax free in Guam so all their items are more reasonable. There and they have a lot of varieties: perfumes, make ups, clothes, shoes, bags, sunglasses, accessories and a lot more- like Mac lipsticks are only P600.00+ and bags are way more affordable. The best thing is: you can take a cab going to DFS and when you get to the lobby, you don't have to pay, they take care of it for you. How awesome is that?!

 This isn't a casino inside DFS. It's an area where you can get a chance to win free items and discount coupons on certain sotres. My friends won pens and other items while I won a discount coupon! Yey for this area. 

 I love the set up of the shopping center. Everything is so chic and classy! All the special bags are displayed so you can see it right away. The concept and design of each store is uniquely designed to make you want to buy all their items! I swear, I went crazy. 

 After all the shopping and fun in the city, we went to Lina'la' Chamorro Cultural Park for some relaxation. The scenery has a movie feel into it. There's not a lot of people too, which is so pleasant- perfect for couples or families who want to experience some bonding moment. 

 Oh. I'm already missing Guam just by looking at this specific photo. Serenity at its best. I just had to remove my shoes and socks and walk barefoot the entire time I was here. 

We watched a cultural dance after having dinner at Lina'la'. It started while we were eating by the shore then we all had to transfer to their native house that is a replica of how their houses used to look like and they narrated. 

After this, we went back to the hotel to freshen up then go watch the "Dream" Sandcastle show. You HAVE to watch this one when you go to Guam. It's an incredible show- and saying that it's incredible is an understatement. Too bad you're not allowed to take photos during the show. I guess it's to not distract the performers, but just to give you an idea of what it is, here's a VIDEO clip. It's a show full of magic, flying trapeze, acrobats, and many more. And this is just day one. I can't wait to show you more photos. 

And by the way, I took all my Guam photos using my new Sony RX100 camera. It's a digital camera but with SLR quality. I didn't bother bringing my big SLR anymore- and I'm so happy I left it. This RX100 is the bomb. It's tiny and incredible- perfect for traveling. BMS.
