Mexx Event

A few weeks ago I attended the Mexx event in Alabang Town Center. I don't normally go to the south but it was worth the trip.  Their clothes are exceptionally wonderful.
We were picked up by Cats motors- Mercedes Benz so our entire trip was really comfortable and relaxing.
Before heading to the store, the bloggers and the Mexx team ate at California Pizza Kitchen. They're actually one of my favorite restaurants so I went all out! I love their pepperoni pizza and turtle sundae.
Here I am at the Mexx store already. Their clothes are really nice and very wearable especially for everyday office wear.  They've a lot of casual/ corporate pieces that everyone will surely love. The fabric they use are all extra soft- it will make you the type that you'd be okay to spend because their clothes are worth it.
Mexx is an international clothing line that offers corporate style and they sell not only clothes but shoes and accessories as well. Their guy clothes aren't that bad either! Just look how cute this striped cardigan is- I can actually buy an oversized one and wear it myself- it looks so chic and comfortable!
With the bloggers Lissa Kahayon, Tricia Gosingtian and David Guison goofing around before our style challenge. Yes we love taking photos hahaha.
Colors and prints. I love the prints of this blush top. This cute top can be worn in so many ways. Even if you wear it with just a pair of skinny jeans you'll still look fabulous.
Stripes and checks. I love it when guys wear button up polos- It's so preppy and geeky in a cute way! These Mexx polos are definitely lovable.
You can like their Facebook fanpage to know ore about Mexx.
Our style challenge that day: Style a person fro the Mexx Team I actually styled two I first studied their body type and their look and I based it there I wouldn't want the to wear something they're not cofortable with I love Mexx- it suits the flavour of those who do prefer neutral casual outfits both to work and at home.
Talk about shopping galore! I just couldn't resist Mexx's clothes.
Okay so Tricia, Lissa, David and I styled these girls. Can you guess who styled who? Remember I styled two girls.
Here are the bloggers with the girls they styled- did you guess it right?
Thank you Mexx for inviting me. I had so much fun and to experience shopping in your store is heavenly! They also just opened their second branch in Edsa Shangri-la mall so if you live in the north it'll be easier for you to check their store out.  They'll also be opening soon in Sm Aura and Glorietta. Thank you Mexx, Mary Kay, California Pizza Kitchen and Cinderella- I had so much fun bonding with my blogger friends and shopping. BMS.

Designs by Abby Jocson x BMS Giveaway

(I Love Fashion Forever top, SM Accessories ring, Designs by Abby Jocson bag, Mexx jeans, Nicholas Kirkwood bag)

This get up is probably one of the comfiest clothes I've worn this year. It was such a relaxed and laid back look and perfect for lounging around in. The sweatshirt is made from the softest material, plus the cross details are really something. Adding an extra edge to my outfit is this fabulous bag from Designs by Abby Jocson.  Savage, jungle-like and camouflage is what’s in this season- and this bag definitely speaks for itself. With a drastic combination of studs and camo, this bag is definitely unique and one-of-a-kind. Plus, this bag is extremely spacey, so if you’re like me who brings almost everything everyday and loves to fill your handbag with your life- then this is definitely for you.

Corporate Chic

(SM Accessories necklace/ rings, Mexx top/ pants/ bag, Sleeh heels)

If you work in a creative or casual office, Mexx has some rocking clothes that you'll surely love. A gray sheer top is a great base layer for any outfit. Choosing this top is a safe bet if you don’t have an idea who you going to have a meeting with or just if you want to look sleek and classy. This is a great opportunity to try a variation of a contrast shade or a shade slightly lighter/ darker than the top when it comes to undergarments too. Wearing a black bra underneath can give that subtle sexy feel and if you want to be more prim and proper you can wear a nude or black tank underneath. The transparency of the top will create a classic look. I wore this pair of jeans with leather details to give my a huge difference. I normally don't wear jeans but this one fit me perfectly. It showed my shape and the simple leather detail really got me.
Anyway, since I'm very experimental when it comes to looks (and since I gave you guys a very classy look above), I decided to put in a how-to-layer tutorial.
If you want to make the look more dainty, you can throw in this cute floral cardigan from Mexx so it will make the entire outfit more friendly. The colors match well with the bag and this cardigan will definitely stand out.
Any tweed top wil instantly make your look more luxurious. You can wear this over the sheer top and show the collar for that corporate chic feel. Honestly, Mexx clothes can really make you look elegant in an instant.
Mexx is exclusively distributed in the Philippines by Cinderella Marketing Corporation and will open other branches soon at Shangri-la East Wing, SM Aura Premier and Glorietta. More details about the brand and special surprises can be found at facebook.com/mexx.ph or twitter.com/mexxphilippines.
