City Lights

(Goody hair tie, Stylista.ph dress, Bubbles necklaces, Extreme Finds bangles, TLTSN ring, Alexander Mcqueen shoes)

This was the perfect outfit I could think of for a cocktail party in Malaysia for the NAPBAS party. When I was packing, I didn't know where the venue was so to be safe, I packed a black dress and decided to just excessorize- I actually missed excessorizing. The trick is, if you feel that you're outfit is too simple, just pile on accessories- it never fails.
This night was so memorable- I got to bond with my fellow bloggers, hava a few drinks and share funny moments with them. Too bad I wasn't able to take photos, I was too busy dancing and singing! Haha. This trip was incredible. Thank you so much Nuffnang family. BMS.

Fountain

(Goody spin pins, D&G sunnies, WAGW top, Love Eyecandy ribbon necklace, SM Accessories spike necklace, H&M customized shorts, Givenchy bag, Bubbles rings, Yosi Samra flats)

Our second day in Malaysia. We had a tour so obviously I couldn't wear heels. Actually, I wanted to, but I'd probably just be sitting in the bus alone the entire time. Good thing I have my foldable YS flats with me. I wanted to be as comfy as I can, so I wore an oversized glittered sweater that's as thin as tissue and tied a knot in front so you can see my mid waist shorts.
And what happens when you go on a tour with bloggers? Let me show you...
Picture taking galore!!!!! BMS.

NAPBAS 2011

Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards (NAPBAS) was held in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. We stayed at Marriott Hotel in Putrajaya. Right when we arrived, we only had two hours to get ready for the big event. Whew! Good thing I wasn't late.
Here I am with the finalists. (L-R): Camille Co under best fashion blog, yours truly, Jenni Epperson under best lifestyle blog and Erwan Heussaff under best food blog.
The night was filled with entertaining numbers. If only I knew what they were singing.. Haha! When the awardings started, I was shouting all the way, rooting for our country. And, did you know that our country won FOUR awards? Yes! Four awards, making us the country with the most awards gotten. Cheers to:
Jenni Epperson of jenniepperson.com for the best lifestyle blog
Jayvee of geekout.ph for the best geek blog
Nina of justwandering.org for the best travel blog
Pong and Tippy of googlygooeys.com for the hidden gem

Of course, congratulations to: ladyironchef.com for the best food blog, cheeserland.com for the best fashion blog, eatshowandtell.com for the best original blog design, childhood101.com for the best parenting blog, beautifulnara.com for the best entertainment blog, kennysia.com for the best micro blog, xiaxue.sg for the most influential blog.

I had so much fun attending the event. When I started blogging, it never crossed my mind that I'd be flying to another country to blog about something. It was truly an amazing experience. I love my Nuffnang family. To be in a room filled with bloggers from all over the Asia Pacific region is jaw dropping- words can't even explain. BMS.

All Sparkled Up

(Goody hair tie, Chanel earrings, Joey Samson dress, Alexander Mcqueen clutch, YSL shoes)

I spent my weekend last week in Malaysia to attend the Nuffnang Asia Pacific blog awards. It was by invitation only and they reserved 500 seats for bloggers from Hong Kong, Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, China and Malaysia. It was truly an experience. Thank you Nuffnang for the invite! I'll talk more about the event on my next post. It was a cocktail event so I decided to wear a fully beaded dress made by a local designer. And because the dress was sparkly enough, I just wore minimal accessories paired with my new babies- YSL pumps. I actually think me and Camille (especially her) were a bit overdressed, but since we represent Philippine fashion, I think were excused. And it's better to be overdressed than underdressed, right?
