Natural Luminosity

(Sugar Kissed bib necklace, vintage top, Eazy Fashion bangles, Hermes bag, The Closet Goddess skirt, Marni shoes)

This is the last look for the Stylista x Pantene campaign we did with Alex Carbonell. Like they say, save the best for last- this is my favorite look out of all four! This look from the F/W trend report is called Natural Luminosity- wherein the hair look is inspired by nature. Influenced by some of the textural finishes of the collection and in particular the grain of wood, you'll see lovely strokes and strands all curled up for the finished touch.  Because the look was inspired by nature, I decided to choose touches of brown like this necklace and bag. Since my hair is teased and tied, I made the look more classy by wearing an off shoulder dress turned top paired with this lovely peplum skirt from The Closet Goddess. The skirt definitely made the look more sophisticated and made the entire look work altogether. Very corporate, classy and chic.
You hair needs natural volume to execute this type of look- and the tricky part is it's supposed to be shiny and manageable still. You need a light shampoo and conditioner tandem to attain this. To achieve a look inspired by nature only means using products that are also inspired by nature: Pantene Nature Care Series. They help your hair bring out its natural feel- healthy and shiny. Check out my behind the scene shots and how Alex Carbonell achieved this look. I always love how smooth my hair is after a certain look- even if they remove all the pins and bands. So sad this is the last look I'll be sharing to you guys- hopefully there's more to come! BMS.

Neon Nirvana

(SM Accessories necklace, Korean brand dress, Primadonna spike bangles, Eazy Fashion rings, Alexander Wang bag, Sophisticat pumps)

So I had two events this day again- my fashion styling 101 for Crocs and the Yahoo OMG awards press conference that I'll be sharing with you guys on my next post. I guess you can say my theme was neon and spikes. The dress + bangles + shoes just seemed to effortlessly click altogether! I just can't quit wearing neon items. As soon as I saw this dress last month in Korea, I knew I had to buy it right away. Because the fabric was too thin, I had to wear a black bodycon dress inside (which was perfect by the way because I went out with my friends that night and turned the neon dress into a top by tying a knot on the side so the black dress showed a little).
And can I just tell you how much I love these new Sophisticat pumps? The owners make their own designs and can even customize pumps for you! How cool is that? I asked them to do the pink/yellow combination for me so it'll always stand out in the crowd. I swear they're as bright as highlighters! I love having customized shoes for myself because you don't have that fear of running into someone with the same pair. BMS.

Eazy

(Goody hair tie, Eazy Fashion top/ necklace, YSL bag, Eazy Fashion bangles/ rings, Axis watch, House of Eva pants)

I really love how there's so much detail on my Eazy Fashion top- the sheer, sequins and pleats look so nice altogether. I decided to pair it with wide leg pants to look more sophisticated since I had about 4-5 meetings this day. I think anything paired with this kind of pants will instantly make an entire outfit look classy. I had everything in my bag too- laptop, tablet and other gadgets for my meetings so this big bag really helped a lot. Lastly, who says you can't wear a collar-like necklace over a sequined collared top? It's double the fun. BMS.
