Sway

Now that everyone's back from their long vacation... I'd like to share a secret. Okay fine, it's not really a secret because I've posted about this product a few times already, but I just can't help to share it again. I did another blogger make over shoot with my Pantene Stylistas Kryz, Camille and Patricia and we were told that we could bring one blogger with us.
Here we are having our hair washed with Pantene shampoo and conditioner.  I remember tweeting about the said event and asked bloggers to send me links to their blog so I can scan before choosing my partner. I've checked over 100+ blogs and it was the hardest decision ever!!! Unfortunately, I only had to choose one and I chose Raiza of Miss Pop Quiz
Our shoot was for Pantene's latest line, the Nature Care Series. Pantene Nature Care has two variants: Smooth and Life for sleek/ straight hair that sways effortlessly and the other one, Fullness and Life for hair that bounces. I rarely curl my hair, so obviously I went to the Smooth and Life variant.
Pantene Nature Care Smoothness and Life collection restores hair’s natural health, smoothness and life form through a combination of the brand’s signature Pro-V technology fused with a nourishing mix of nature’s wonders including Cassia Complex, aloe vera, calendula and ginger. This innovative formula penetrates into the hair’s cortex and fortifies the hair shaft from root to tip maintaining optimal moisture balance in hair while reducing friction between every hair strand therefore achieving smooth, shiny hair that is still full of life and movement.
Here I am all fixed up. Can I just tell you, this was the liveliest and fullest that my hair has ever been- no exaggeration. And not only I could feel it, other people noticed it too! My yaya asked if I had recently cut my hair because it looks so alive and another friend asked me if I went to the salon to get my hair fixed! O diba!! I really love Pantene Nature Care
With my fellow chosen blogger Raiza. Isn't she so tall and pretty?
With the Pantene Stylistas and my loves too. Bilang bounce si Kryz and Cams, hindi pa ready ang hair nila! Hahaha
Pantene Stylistas on the left and our fellow bloggers on the right: Bestie, Danika, Raiza and Lissa.
Goofing around. Ganito kami pag walang camera hahaha!
I love product too much! Really does wonders for my hair.
Break time and I'm still working! #ayawpaawat #workaholic
I had so much fun with these girls and thank you as well to Raiza, my fellow blogger who went with me to the shoot. She was so friendly and stylish! Thank you Pantene for the shoot again. Not only did my hair feel revived, but ever since our shoot, my hair is still as soft and straight now as it was that day.
Here's what I wore for the shoot:
(SM Accessories necklaces/ rings, My Korean Rose dress, Virgos Lounge jacket, Chanel bag, Feet for a Queen pumps)

I chose gold and white for this day's outfit because with Pantene, you can't help but feel fresh and glamorous.

Pantene Sway

If you've been reading my blog for a long time, you'll notice that I'm not very experimental when it comes to hair styles- it's always just up or down. When it's up- it means i'm having a bad hair day. It's that day when I feel that my hair is not as lively or that it's weighed down. And when it's weighed down, it'll look (and feel) heavy/ limp. Hair is very important to when it comes to outfit shots too, because it will look obvious when your hair is lifeless. You know the saying, "pictures are worth a thousand words" - and they really do. If you feel that your hair weighs you down, then you won't be confident. And if you're not confident- the entire look and feel will not work. If you've noticed my hair styles below, I've tried on different colors and styles, and that's how I am with shampoos. When I tried Pantene Nature Care- I noticed that my hair became more alive.
I've tried moisturizing shampoos that weighed my hair down and believe me- it doesn't feel good. Healthy hair is very important because the face and hair are the first things that get noticed when you get introduced to people. Good thing I discovered healthy hair that's full of life with Pantene Nature Care. There are actually two kinds: Pantene Nature Care Smoothness and Life and Pantene Nature Care Fullness and Life. Just by hearing the names of the products, you'll know for sure that the end goal is to have hair that moves with life.  Like Angelica Panganiban, I choose to have hair that sways with life because when I walk out the door, I always meet new people and take outfit shots. It really helps complete my overall look. It's also easier for me to choose what I'll be wearing because I don't need to make an effort to tie my hair or bun it up because it'll look perfect the most when it's down. Whether you want hair that sways with life or hair that bounces with life- it's possible with Pantene Nature Care. If you want to know more about different sway and bounce looks, visit Pantene's Facebook Page. #PanteneSway
P.S. If you like hair that bounces with life better, visit the blog of my friend Kryz Uy.

Natural Luminosity

(Sugar Kissed bib necklace, vintage top, Eazy Fashion bangles, Hermes bag, The Closet Goddess skirt, Marni shoes)

This is the last look for the Stylista x Pantene campaign we did with Alex Carbonell. Like they say, save the best for last- this is my favorite look out of all four! This look from the F/W trend report is called Natural Luminosity- wherein the hair look is inspired by nature. Influenced by some of the textural finishes of the collection and in particular the grain of wood, you'll see lovely strokes and strands all curled up for the finished touch.  Because the look was inspired by nature, I decided to choose touches of brown like this necklace and bag. Since my hair is teased and tied, I made the look more classy by wearing an off shoulder dress turned top paired with this lovely peplum skirt from The Closet Goddess. The skirt definitely made the look more sophisticated and made the entire look work altogether. Very corporate, classy and chic.
You hair needs natural volume to execute this type of look- and the tricky part is it's supposed to be shiny and manageable still. You need a light shampoo and conditioner tandem to attain this. To achieve a look inspired by nature only means using products that are also inspired by nature: Pantene Nature Care Series. They help your hair bring out its natural feel- healthy and shiny. Check out my behind the scene shots and how Alex Carbonell achieved this look. I always love how smooth my hair is after a certain look- even if they remove all the pins and bands. So sad this is the last look I'll be sharing to you guys- hopefully there's more to come! BMS.

Sleek Perfection

(Extreme Finds necklace/ square bangles, Wardrobe Check top and shorts, Bring ring, Chanel bag, Primadonna wedges)

This is the third look for the Stylista x Pantene campaign we did with Alex Carbonell. I must say, this was the hardest hairstyle he did that day (you'll see how he did it below).  This look from the F/W trend report is called Sleek Perfection, which is part sci-fi- part parisian chic. It basically gives the impression that the hair is aerodynamic and moving at an incredibly high speed. The first word that came to my mind when I heard the look is "braids". If you want that high speed effect, you twirl the braids so it will look like it's moving in one motion. I decided to make my outfit very colorful and overloaded it with print by wearing Wardrobe Check pieces. With a hairstyle like this, you have to be very bold and daring with your look. Wearing this can be very tricky- I wanted the look really exaggerated so I wore this cropped top and high waist shorts, which both have the perfect length and size just to show off little skin on my stomach area. Subtle, right? With this outfit, it's all about the details.
Before having to achieve this look, my hair got pulled in different directions. Of course, if you're doing braids, you have to tug and pull the hair. Tugging at the roots may cause hair fall along with pinning and tying so they used Pantene Hair Fall Control to prevent all these things. My hair didn't look dull and boring at all. When they removed the braids and pins after the shoot, they used Pantene hair fall control again to straighten my hair. Bongga diba! There's always a way to prevent damaged hair- thank you Pantene! BMS.

The New Realism

(Glam Fashion necklace, Virgos Lounge top, Alexander Wang bag, Superb Finds bracelets, Wardrobe Check shorts, Luxury Mall booties)

This is the second look we did for the Stylista x Pantene campaign with Alex Carbonell. This look from the F/W trend report is The New Realism- wherein the vibe is luxurious, defined and elegant with a hint of youth. As you can see, my hair is pulled back making my hair silky and smooth. This is also the first time I've tried this hairstyle and it looks so classy! So, what to wear with this type of hairstyle? Something luxurious- and of course, what would look more luxurious than this top I got from Virgos Lounge? The beaded details are crazy! I absolutely love the everything about this expensive-looking top. I actually got it a long time ago but I saved it for a very special event/ pictorial- like this one. We all know that if you want to look elegant, wear gold. The cream-brown-gold combination made the look classy, but because of the colorful bangles and my studded booties, I was able to make it look more fun.
So how did Alex Carbonell achieve this hairstyle? Here are some of my behind-the-scene photos. Your hair needs to have that extreme smoothness without the greasy look for that silky smooth finish. You don't want your hair too oily while it's pulled back right? They used Pantene solution so the smoothness will show even without that greasy look/ feel. With Pantene, there's always a way to achieve that silky smooth finish. BMS.

Controlled Chaos

(Boosteeyay corset, Zara belt, Lunachic bangles, See by Chloe bag, Lunachic skirt, Sugarfree heels)

Have you read my teaser post about Stylist x Pantene? If not, check it HERE. Pantene collaborated with top bloggers and Alex Carbonell to show you how you can dress fashionably with vibrant and glowing hair.
This entire look revolved around controlled spontaneity where textures and colors are highlighted- they got this look from the F/W 2012 hair trend. We all have our bad hair day moments and the hair-torture situation for this look is it involved a lot of textures, so it damaged my hair from extreme styling. They managed to keep it straight and still look fabulous by using Pantene Total Damage Repair. They twisted my hair and pinned it while leaving most of my hair down, giving me a new look. This is actually the first time I've tried this look and I love it! It was a balance of sleek and chaos so I decided to be bold with my outfit by wearing floral print on print. It definitely gave me a "younger" vibe, don't you think? I really like the contrast of the black, strong print and girly, aqua skirt together with my controlled chaos hair style. And can I just add, these two-toned blue suede pumps are rocking it. BMS.
