Dinagyang 2013

Buko shake at Ponsyon, corn on the streets, beef batchoy at Ted's and shots at Flow
So happy to see some of my closest friends again- and of course, people from Manila who went to Iloilo for Dinagyang. I had so much fun at Flow Republiq!
Costume party pala to?! Hahaha. Really enjoyed wearing different masks the entire day!
Was also happy to meet a lot of my followers from Iloilo. To my readers who gave me those cookies, accessories, clothes and a drawing of me-- thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you guys for always making my trips to Iloilo memorable. That's why I keep coming back. It was my first festival to attend and I had so much fun. BMS.

Festival Feel

(Drop n' Shop sunglasses, Pill Clothing jumpsuit, SM Accessories bag/ bangles/ ring, Ingga Sandals flats)

So last week I decided to go to Iloilo for a reason- for Dinagyang. Since I'm always there, I wanted to experience their festival (it's also my first time to attend a festival)I was prepared to witness Iloilo’s revel during the Dinagyang Festival and experience an explosion of sound, color, and a lot of dancing. During the festival, I wore this comfortable and colorful dress to keep me free from hardship all day long. The festival was held on the streets so I wore these sunnies from Drop n' Shop. I must admit, I missed wearing oversized sunnies- I completely forgot how wonderful they are. There are so many styles out there but the beauty of having this one is: it's classy and that season after season, it will never look outdated. It also comes with a very nice Tiger case just so my sunglasses are protected. Small bags are a must if you know you'll be out the whole day, less hassle and you'll feel light and comfortable the entire day.
Speaking of comfort,  Ingga Sandals made these innovative flats that will surely blow your mind away. These sandals are for everyone to surely love. You can style it in so many ways and the sole is so thin so it's perfect for traveling. Here are two other examples on how you can play around with the string aside from how I wore it on my outfit shot above. Seriously, it's the perfect pair if you have an outing because you can style it in so many ways, making your feet look pretty and new everyday even if you only brought one pair of sandals.
Dinagyang photos tomorrow. BMS.

Laid Back in Iloilo

(Jimmy Choo sunnies, Plains and Prints chambre, H&M top, Long Champ shorts, Amadora necklace/ bracelets, Bubbles shorts, Fila socks, Crocs shoes)

I'm always in Iloilo- and I never really get bored when I'm there. In fact, I love being there- that's why I brought my friends this time! Hahaha. I love wearing laid back clothes. When I go there, I'd like to keep my look as comfy as I can because I know I'll be on vacation mode. I wore this pair of comfy and affordable Bubbles shorts just so I can move around freely and to make everything look more trendy, I wore these necklace and bracelets from Amadora accessories. Aren't they so nice?! I love the combination of the claw + studs in one arm.  Metals and silver are always a good pair with denim. Even if the necklace is a bit striking, it doesn't overpower the total look. It was a very bright day so thank goodness I brought these new foldable sunnies. Even if the classic frames are contrasting my laid back ensemble- ironically, it added flare. Oh, and did you notice my cute polka socks? I just saw the new collection of Fila and I love all their colorful and printed socks! Yey!
Anyway, here are some photos taken via my phone from my Iloilo trip.
Thank you Dominique and Camille from Iloilo for giving us these cute neons bracelets!
Foldable Jimmy Choo sunnies and my forever reliable Sony RX100.
Seriously, I think I need to be a brand ambassador for Iloilo. Hahaha! I love this city. BMS.

Spontaneous

 Bear Land
(Super sunnies, Monkee Business top, Celine bag, Primadonna shorts, Suelas x Laureen Uy flats)
 Seashels Creation bracelets, Casio watch
Plazuela de Iloilo. Such a nice place, right?
The best chicken inasal I've ever tried in Iloilo- Barrio Inasal. I love everything there, and the fact that it's so affordable makes me want to eat everything!!
Twister fries in Crave Burger tastes like Mcdonalds twister fries! Yum.
My business partner/ best friend/ tour guide Katrina Loring.
They say spontaneous trips are always the best. It did happen to me a few weeks ago when I decided to go to Iloilo to visit Katrina. Sometimes, you just have to make unplanned decisions and get out of your comfort zone to experience unforgettable memories. BMS.
