Cape Town

(Goody ouchless tie, D&G sunnies, The Closet Goddess top, Bubbles necklaces, Extreme Finds bangles/rings, Jag jeans, Feet for a Queen shoes)

When I saw this gorgeous top from The Closet Goddess, I knew I had to get it. The illusion of the arms inserted inside the hole and a big cape slightly hiding it is just awesome. The cape behind is longer too, making an extra drama effect on your entire outfit. This is actually a dress that I tied in the middle for it to become a top (try wearing dresses as tops, too) because I attended a casual dinner afterwards. Also, I've been trying to look for a salmon colored top for the longest time- and this just blew my mind off. I seriously felt like a superhero wearing this- imagine if there was wind! Haha. Paired it with colored necklaces and my favorite bangles for the final touch. BMS.

What a great idea that you tied your top in middle to embrace your figure, and also to highlight the back of your cape...

Love the top! The "cape-look" is so cool, and I like how you wore the dress as a top. The salmon color looks great on you.

I love the dramatic flair to this top– or even better how the piece is so versatile that it looks so nice as both a dress and as a top. The salmon colour really brings out the gradient of colours in your heels as well! I might try doing that one day now with some of my dresses. Have a good rest of the week! xx
