Sleek Perfection

(Extreme Finds necklace/ square bangles, Wardrobe Check top and shorts, Bring ring, Chanel bag, Primadonna wedges)

This is the third look for the Stylista x Pantene campaign we did with Alex Carbonell. I must say, this was the hardest hairstyle he did that day (you'll see how he did it below).  This look from the F/W trend report is called Sleek Perfection, which is part sci-fi- part parisian chic. It basically gives the impression that the hair is aerodynamic and moving at an incredibly high speed. The first word that came to my mind when I heard the look is "braids". If you want that high speed effect, you twirl the braids so it will look like it's moving in one motion. I decided to make my outfit very colorful and overloaded it with print by wearing Wardrobe Check pieces. With a hairstyle like this, you have to be very bold and daring with your look. Wearing this can be very tricky- I wanted the look really exaggerated so I wore this cropped top and high waist shorts, which both have the perfect length and size just to show off little skin on my stomach area. Subtle, right? With this outfit, it's all about the details.
Before having to achieve this look, my hair got pulled in different directions. Of course, if you're doing braids, you have to tug and pull the hair. Tugging at the roots may cause hair fall along with pinning and tying so they used Pantene Hair Fall Control to prevent all these things. My hair didn't look dull and boring at all. When they removed the braids and pins after the shoot, they used Pantene hair fall control again to straighten my hair. Bongga diba! There's always a way to prevent damaged hair- thank you Pantene! BMS.

That's such an interesting combination of prints...it seems like it could be really busy but the cropping and fit of each item really keep it from being so– it just works and I like how that's kind of reflected in the wicked effect of the braids. Thanks for sharing! xx
