Classic and Classy

(37LA dress turned top, Miss Sartorial peplum belt, SM Accessories ring, Fantasia Clothing skirt, Dorothy Perkins x Kardashian Kollection clutch, Primadonna heels)

Black + Gold = classy and chic. You'll never go wrong with this combination. Whenever I attend night events, I try to be classier instead of my usual edgy, experimental self. Just try and mix it up with fabric, style and texture. BMS.

Sheen and Sparkle

(Fayeness Shop fake watch bangle, Style Trend skirt, Primadonna heels)

With a liquid-like sheen and notice-me-now sparkle, metallic pieces are inherently glamorous and party-ready. But the trend, embraced by style still reads casual when worn with the right pieces. It’s the ultimate lesson in versatility, cinching in at the waist and flaring at the hips- there isn’t a figure this skirt won’t flatter. This was what I wore for our guesting/ feature for ETC's Etcetera premiere episode this 2013. I don't even need to explain why my photos are this amazing- Tricia Gosingtian took them. Anyway, the theme was to wear something metallic, so I chose this. I love the texture of both my top and skirt! To spice up the look, I wore these amazing accessories. They're not too loud but they're such attention grabbers, especially this fake watch bangleThe skater skirt is so nice if you want to hit the classic lady-like look. BMS.
By the way, my apologies if I don't have the links to the items here. If you sent this over, kindly email me so I can link your store.

Brown

(Ray-ban sunnies, Goody hair tie, H&M fur, Ministry of Retail jacket, One Stop Shop bag, Arm Candy ring, H&M pants, Primadonna shoes)

Despite the usually chilly connotations that are associated with winter, these months are said to be the best time to visit Hong Kong. With pleasant sunshine, a cool breeze and a comfortable temperature- the conditions are optimal for exploring the city’s many attractions. While walking around Central, I couldn't stop myself from stopping and staring at this lovely (and enormous) door. Anyway, layering my clothes is a tried-and-true way to ensure my comfort in the outdoors. The beauty of this ensemble is that it allowed me to make quick adjustments based on my activity level and changes in the weather. I love how the neutral colors worked and how prints looked altogether. I met up with the people of Sugarfree this day so I decided to bring this Satchel Bag from One Stop Shop. Good move bring a big bag too, because all my stuff- laptop, camera, drawing designs, etc all fit inside! Not only does it look classy and wonderful, but it's very handy/ useful too. I’m not usually into bringing big bags when I travel but this satchel bag is an exemption. The small pocket outside it a big help too! Lipstick, octopus card, my cell phone, earplugs- the stuff I needed to bring out in an instant fit in that tiny thing. BMS.

Hong Kong Day 2

(H&M hat, Gurly Glam Shoppe scarf, SheInside jacket, Celine bag, Arm Candy bracelets/ cross ring, Jag jeans, Primadonna boots)

Everyone seems to be obsessing over something: hair, makeup, dress, or even shoes. Some people tend to forget one of the most important things when dressing up: accessories. I can never leave the house without wearing accessories- whether it be bracelets, a ring, etc. Accessories can have a large impact on your everyday outfit and can push it over the top and wow everybody. The key to accessorizing is to accent your outfit and to keep things fresh and trendy. Bringing these Arm Candy accessories to Hong Kong was one of the smartest moves I've done. They're designed to lighten things up a bit and give you a playful look. For me, Skulls + Studs + Neons = happines. And these arm candies are light too so I didn't have to worry about bringing them with me. Since my outfit revolved around dark colors (and to keep me warm in HK too), I decided to lighten the entire look by wearing colorful accessories. BMS.

Details

(Details necklace, Alexander Wang bag, My Korean Rose bangle, Details jumpsuit, Primadonna heels)

Fashion cycles tend to repeat themselves over and over again and when they make a comeback, they're usually back with a bang! Just like my love for jumpsuits- I'm now addicted to jumpsuits again. There's just something so chic and sexy about rocking an all-in-one piece. Thankfully, Details has this jumpsuit that has returned in all its bold brilliance. The plain + print combination gives a perfect look for a classy style. Going to parties or a spin around the city, or even just hanging around and chilling with my friends- this can be easily be worn. It's the magic of a jumpsuit. This piece is incredibly comfortable and also the perfect canvas for my beautiful necklace from Details. They both go well together, I love it! There is something both chic and effortlessly cool about this necklace that pleases me. BMS.

Burgundy

(Goody hair tie, Istilo necklace/ ring, Alexander Mcqueen belt, Fantasia Clothing top/ skirt, Chanel bag, Primadonna heels)

Instead of a more predictable sweater, I tried tossing a chic lace top- and I must say it's a very beautiful crafted top. It really makes me feel pretty darn happy. This is a style that can can really look graceful in every way, and to make it work in a casual and quirky, holiday-happy look- I paired it with this leather skirt from Fantasia Clothing. You don't even have to bother wearing an inner top because the lace top already comes with a tank inside, showing only the skin of your arms. It partners well with prints, colors, texture, and provides an interesting contrast effect with softer pieces. Leather doesn’t always have to be black- have fun with one of the on-trend colors this season such as burgundy. This leather skirt is already one of my favorite pieces because it makes my waist look incredibly thinner than usual. BMS.

Paisley

(Lauren and Brie top, Mel's Collection necklace, Giftsahoy ring, Beads and Laces sequined vest/ wallets, Fantasia Clothing skirt, Primadonna heels)

Party season is still in full swing even if Christmas just finished-  New Year is one of the biggest nights of the year (and the start of another exciting year too) so it goes without saying that you need something fabulous to wear. I picked this printed top from Lauren and Brie because red is a lucky color, plus a must to wear during this season. I love the chic appeal of the silhouette and edgy effect of this paisley print. The incredible detail on the neckline definitely makes it extra unique. Plus, the printed color melts well with this sequined vest from Beads and Laces- it's as if they're made for each other! The glitz tones and neutral basics went well together. The vest is a great piece to incorporate into my wardrobe because it can be worn for work or a night out.
Now, it's also our family tradition to hold all out wallets and money during New Years Eve. It's like telling the world to give us more wealth this coming 2013. So... I got this new red wallet from Beads and Laces. It can actually be used as a passport holder too. I kept all my GCs inside the black wallet so I've one for my GCs. Talk about being organized this 2013. I'm going to hold these for a lucky new year. BMS.
