Coming Soon

SOBRANG EXCITED AKO SA MOVIE NA TO. And no, it's not because majority of the people included in this movie are my close friends (okay, maybe partly) but it's also because this movie is about living your life to the fullest. Anyway, I attended the premiere last Monday night and laughed so hard!
Producers Neil Arce, Ronald Singson (who's missing in action in this photo) and Boy2 Quizon did a good job. The event was filled with star studded people to support Coming Soon.
Group shot! (L-R): Nix Alanon, Tessa Prieto, Rajo Laurel, Tim Yap, my sister Liz Uy, JM Rodriguez, Neil Arce and I.
Carla Humphries' sister Sam came to support her too. (L-R): Sam Humphries, IC Mendoza, Neil Arce (again. in fairness quota na siya sa photos hahaha) and Tessa Prieto
With Raymond Gutierrez, Liz Uy and Solenn Heussaff
Lead stars arrive. Carla Humpries and Andi Eigenmann looking hot and glam.
Here comes Boy2 Quizon, Cholo Barretto and Glaiza De Castro too
The premiere was so chill. Raymond explained that you really won't expect any life changing moments after you've seen the movie, but expect a lot of fun and drunken nights after hahaha. It's really a funny movie that you have to watch. It's showing in cinemas starting today so if you've nothing to do- I suggest you watch this para good vibes lang all day!
Here's the trailer if you guys are curious. BMS.

Singapore Travel Diary February 02/13

Hello Singapore! I was just there for three days- really super bitin but at least I was still able to get a mini vacation with people I love.
I traveled with my sister Liz, my adopted sister Vice Ganda and stylist Bang Pineda. It was really a bonding trip for us since we're too busy to actually see each other in Manila. I was also able to squeeze in a short meeting with Dawn of DIDD, the owner of this very hip online shop. Wait for my outfit post wearing their fab clothes!
The very famous Clark Quay.
The buffet at Carousel in Royal Hotel at Scotts road was simply amazing.
Look, there's a pool inside Marina Bay Sands mall! Kidding. It's a really cool place to dine though.
Some of my Instagram photos. I usually update faster there so you can follow me if you want!
Inside the mall goofing around with Vice while my sister takes awkward photos of us. Hahaha. I just had to compile some of them! Thank you for the wonderful trip sis, I had so much fun.
I wish to see you again, Singapore. Till next time. BMS.

EMF

Exception Music Festival = unforgettable. I attended it last week and the experience was amazing. I'm such a music lover so I really had a blast. There were three live stages and I felt like a kid roaming around the huge area just to enjoy and not miss a good song the entire night.
With Camille. Thank you Rima Ostwani as well for the tables and drinks. Everyone- and I mean EVERYONE- had a blast.
With Bubbles Paraiso who managed to wear heels the entire time. Hands down to you, Bubbs!
Close friends: Sean Go, Camille Co, Patricia Prieto and Frank Magalona
Hat party! My sister Liz and I borrowing some of our friends' hats and wanting them for ourselves
There were even fireworks! Ash Rye and Raymond Gutierrez fashionably late.
Okay, so I wasn't really able to take a lot of good photos because I was too busy jumping and singing and dancing, but I tried my best. Thank you also Pat for helping me capture some shots and to Exception Music Festival for making our night epic. BMS.

Preview Magazine: The Cover Shoot

Okay... Let me gather all my thoughts: G%#@W!&*J#A?<%P}=#^M<$*!!!!!!!!! Oh, I'm sorry, I just can't express how happy I am that I'm part of Preview Magazine's cover together with bloggers Tricia and Camille. I still can't believe I'm in a cover of a magazine- and it's not just any magazine- it's Preview magazine-- and not only that, it's their big fashion issue! Okay, dramatic I know, pero ibang level ang kaligayahan ko!! I almost fainted when they asked me if I can be part of the cover. I really jumped, shouted and nearly cried. I can still remember my very first feature with Preview: December 2009 with Agot Isidro on the cover and I was on the last page called "best dressed". I was so kilig with the feature and didn't expect I was going to be featured again as one of the best dressed women last 2011. Akala ko yun na yun.. so WOW.. Just imagine my joy when they asked me to be part of the cover. Again, thank you Preview magazine- you made my dream come true.
Here are some behind-the-scenes photos from our shoot:
Being made up by Pong Niu. She's one of my favorite make up artists! The peg was simple: FRESHNESS. Yes, ilayo kami sa usual blogger look namin, which is smokey and hair down, to a clean and fresh look.
The three make up artists: Pong Niu, Owen Sarmiento and Omar Ermita
I swear, I've never seen so many shoes for a shoot. The most I've pulled out for a shoot were only 15 pairs of shoes, and mine's are the affordable ones.. These ones are mixes of everything! I can even spot Louis Vuitton heels.
I get so kilig every time I see this photo. Being styled by my sister Liz and Daryl Chang and being art directed by my brother Vince. Okay fine, they're my siblings but it's still different in the workplace. May halong pressure!!!
Our dresses were origami-inspired and were made designed by THE Cary Santiago
I've never met him yet but every time I see his design, I fall in love with it.
It's nice to be working with people you love- and I mean working with the Preview team and posing with co-bloggers Tricia and Camille.
Photographer Paolo Pineda in action. Nakakatawa, everyone is so serious! Hahaha.
Of course, hindi magtatapos ang blog post nito kung wala akong thank you sa mga taong to:
Paolo Pineda for shooting us and April Lozada/ Tony Santos for assisting
Liz Uy and Daryl Chang for styling and Abby Aranda, MJ Benitez and Meg Manzano for assisting
Vince Uy for art directing
Pong Niu for my make up, Omar Ermita for Tricia's and Owen Sarmiento for Camille's
Mark Familara and Buern Rodriguez for our hair
Beauty and Butter for our nails
Karen Bolilia, Anna Canlas and Daryl Chang for the wonderful article
Celyn Jaravata, my lovely assistant who always takes my BTS/ outfit shots
And of course, Pauline Juan and the entire Preview team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And siyempre- never miss ang group shot after the shoot! Too bad Liz and Daryl left already, but at least we're still semi complete. Watch our BTS video HERE.
Please do grab a copy of the issue. The article is really interesting and it will make you learn more about blogging and the internet. And aside from our cover story, there are a lot more engrossing pages like Preview's top 10 picks of brands making their mark in the local retail scene, the designs of PEFTA batch 2011, amazing fashion editorials, etc. Thanks again Preview for putting your faith in us. And to my readers, I promise you won't regret buying an issue!
And by the way, did I tell you about the Preview AppBy simply downloading it for FREE, the country’s modern and stylish Filipina can get exclusive contents, write ups, illustrations and styling tips culled from both the September issue! Download HEREBMS.

Blue

(Frou Frou necklace, Zara dress, Extreme Finds bangles, Chanel bag (similar bag HERE), Sugarfree heels)

I'm blue da ba di da ba da ba da ba di da... Haha okay enough. Last month I guested for Kris TV together with my sister Liz and the segment was about siblings. I've told you before how I style myself a bit more different on TV than on my blog, right? When it comes to blogging, I can experiment more in terms of the way I dress whereas on tv, there are limitations. It's actually a good thing because on screen, I get to show a different side of me. On tv, I like to dress more feminine and dainty- so I wore this simple powder blue dress. Usually, they only see your face and upper body during interviews because you're usually sitting down- that's why I wore this striking necklace. Really, it is a statement piece. The detail is so nice and it can definitely be seen even from afar.
Here are some photos that was taken from my phone during the Kris TV interview. We were interviewed together with siblings Javy and Enrique Gil- such cuties! If you want to watch the episode, click HERE. BMS.
