Empty Streets

(Fabczhik necklace/ bracelets/ ring, Next Jeans top/ shorts, Binky Doodles vest, Love Eyecandy bag, Comfit heels)

I don't normally post this many photos on one blog post, but if it's Tricia Gosingtian taking your outfit for the day- you just don't know what shots to choose because everything looks absolutely amazing. There's something about her photos that's one of a kind. She took this outfit when we did a video shoot together. Good thing Next Jeans has this top and shorts that jive together and is absolutely comfy for me to move around while on set. The top itself is so lovely with its decorative collar. Sometimes, tiniest details are the most important ones. This top is so plain but has a lot of surprises. Also, I love how I got this pair of plain shorts too. When I peeked inside my shorts cabinet, I realized I had a lot of printed ones and didn't have a lot of plain ones, so this really was a good purchase. Denim shorts are a must in every girl's closet. To make my look more interesting, I wore this printed vest. Lastly, I love the fact that this classy bag added spice to my outfit. Seriously, this bag is so useful- my laptop and everything else I need fits inside! Perfect for school, work or meetings. BMS.

Lights All Over

(Goody hair tie, Cole Vintage necklace, Seventh Street top/ shorts, Casio watch, Kandi Treats cuff, Chanel bag, Comfit heels)

I have to be honest. Having same prints + strong colors really mark on my mind. I’ve seen and thought of far more creative ways to accessorize and be more creative if my looks are bold and out there- that’s why I love this top and short from Seventh Street. One bright thing I can say is its prints are able to effortlessly standout and its radiant presence cannot be denied. This matching top + shorts combination also make you look more sophisticated than usual. It's really because of the magnificent prints and outstanding quality of the fabric- that's why I wore this when I was invited to be a speaker for Entrepreneur Magazine.
I was invited to be one of the four speakers to share how I turned my passion into business. I normally get emails to be speakers in some schools, events and universities but I always find myself too shy to participate- however this was an exception. I was really honored when I got this invite. I shared how I started and how the blogging community influences me in my everyday living. I was also very proud and honored to meet different people from the business world.
This year, I will try and engage more in these kinds of talks and events. BMS.

Bluer Than Blue

(Ambriel's Box necklaces/ bracelets, Stiles by Fab Shop top/ skirt, Chloe bag, Comfit heels)

I have always been into matching and experimenting clothes. These items from Stiles by Fab Shop have been calling out my name for quite some time now. I love this top because of its versatility- you can dress it up or down, day till night. It also went well with this skirt. Mixed prints and peplum are some of the hottest trends this season. Lately I have been in love with them, especially when it's 2-in-1: prints and peplum combined. I tried to tone it down by wearing a basic blue sheer top, and then upped the style by adding the blue cut out heels. I finished the look with these super adorable neon-colored accessories from Ambriel's Box. Their accessories can take me from day to night, provided I style them up properly. These bubble gum looking accessories are so addictive! I love that they can make any get-up look more playful. Pops of color always help in bringing a vibrant look together. BMS.

Corsets

(Wacoal corset, Iora blazer, YSL bag, Casio watch, Luscious Closet shorts, Comfit heels)

This is the combination of a functional fit and fashion details that creates an all-day everyday comfort look. Wacoal, known for its great undergarments, presents this beautiful corset that will truly make everyone want to buy this. Corsets are really a lifesaver if you don't have anything else to wear. You can wear it with a blazer, pair it with jeans / shorts, use it as a layer under your sheer tops, etc. To balance off this clean and crisp look, I wore this studded bag and buckle heels for that classy effect. Plus, it really did make the entire ensemble look subtly sexy, right?
These specific Wacoal corsets feature ultra-flattering sweetheart cuts, clean lines and perfect silhouettes for both over and under clothing. The big surprise with these corsets is the soft yet padded underwire cups. I always keep it in mind that nice fitting of undergarments can really affect my overall look, posture and on how my clothes will look on me. BMS.

Nature

(DCG necklace/ bangle, United Colors of Benetton top/ pants, Celine bag, Comfit shoes)

I just got this outfit from United Colors of Benetton (UCB) and I know it was exactly the perfect corporate-casual look for me. I love the fact that my silk button up top really went well with these pair of casual khaki pants- making my entire ensemble look sleek. The earth tones of the entire look made me feel good too. For a day filled with clients and meetings, it's really a wise choice to wear UCB. Plus, I didn't feel uncomfortable the whole day too. The vibe I got from this silky top is nature- having the tree branches, leaves and sky all in one piece. I chose a size way bigger than one for my built for a different effect. What's great about the brand is that it's really a store where you can find classy and sleek pieces from head to toe. The printed top + trousers are such a good combo if you have to attend meetings. It also made sense for me to wear this matching DCG necklace and bangle too- totally went well with my entire look. Actually, it's very hard to find accessories like these- ones that really look good and made with good quality at the same time. Adding these pieces of accessories gave it a statement. To be more playful with colors and prints, I wore this snakeskin heels for some crazy experimental effect.
