Move Freely

I’ve been thinking of moving out lately. Not because I want to leave my family, but because I want to become more independent. Since I started my store Stylebreak and my blog, I feel like I need a condo unit where I can do everything freely so I learn how to be organized and inspire to work harder.
For me, it’s always best to balance everything in just one place. I want a place where it can inspire me to be better with what I do so I can work in every way I can. I want to wake up everyday happy and motivated. I also take into consideration the area- if it’s close to the areas I usually go to for meetings and leisure.
Avida Centera is launching their 4th tower in Mandaluyong this March 9 and I think it’s a nice location. It puts you right where public transportation, schools, offices, and commercial centers are all within your reach. I’m always in Ortigas and Makati area so I’m really suited for this type of condos.
This two-bedroom space is ideal for me- just look how spacious the hallway is leading to the living/ kitchen area. I can turn the other room into my office while leaving the main room as my bedroom. This area is just perfect for someone who’s just starting out- someone who has is free-spirited and has a lot of goals in life.

Remember, it’s always nice to live in a space where it gives you positivity and happiness everyday. Avida Towers Centera Tower 4 is celebrating the launch this March 9 and is inviting everyone to check out their showroom. You can check out their website for more information. BMS.

Here Kitty Kitty

(Lemon Shop hat, SM Accessories necklace/ bangle, Stylebreak top, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, Asian Pop leggings, J&M flats)

Trying to be creative and experimental with my look ended up like this: wearing a neon beanie on the head and engaging a very interesting head turning game in the streets (who wouldn't look at this cute neon hat during the day right? Haha). This beanie from Lemon Shop is really something- they always have these cute hats that please me. I've been looking for these kind of hats for the longest time and I'm really happy I found them! Plus it really is the perfect time to wear my flats from J&M (an amazing online shop I just discovered). I rarely wear flats, but when I find something that I really like, I just have to have them. Iba ang comfort level nitong flats na to! Plus, it really made the entire ensemble look more relaxed. I’ve been really in love with online shopping lately- I find a lot of very exclusive pieces. It's what I do if I want some statement pieces or interesting details to add my look. BMS.

Galaxy

(H&M hat, Extreme Finds necklace, Krisp Collection top, Phosphor watch,  Marc Jacobs bag, Stylebreak shorts, Krisp Collection flats)

At this point in time, I really didn't know if it was going to rain or not, but all I knew it is was to hot to cover myself up. I wore this galaxy-inspired mullet top to balance the simplicity of my shorts. See, I told you mullet tops are really a great way to make your look more dressy even if you're wearing a super chill attire. And because I wanted to be prepared for the rain, I wore these super cute jelly flats from Krisp Collection. What I love about them is they're extremely comfy and that I won't even care if it gets wet because I know it will absolutely never be ruined by the rain. Now's really the time to hide your leather/suede shoes and start wearing jelly flats. The style is so unique and I heard they offer a lot of other cool styles too. What a great find! And yes, I did make my nails glittery pink to match the shoes. BMS.

Everything Printed

(Superb Finds necklace, Monkee Business top/ blazer, Lunachic bangles, Goyard bag, Stylebreak shorts, Sugarfree shoes)

When it comes to prints, Monkee Business always wins. Their new collection of tops and blazers are amazing, not to mention they all look good when paired together too. This dream catcher-like top went well with my floral blazer and floral pumps (the cork + print is just too pretty). Honestly, there's really not much to say here- just that the colors and prints are awesome. BMS.

Embroidery

(Goody spin pins, Elle Be Are blazer, Primadonna studded bracelets, Superb Finds colored bangle, Balenciaga bag, Stylebreak shorts, Parisian wedges)

A short and sweet sentence: This Elle Be Are blazer just stole the show. Really, it did. I attended a very important event and everyone asked me where I got this blazer from. It's actually a customized blazer that I ordered from Qatar. People think it's hard ordering items out of the country but it's actually the same thing when you order from Manila, except you have to wait for a few more days. You can never go wrong with customized pieces- especially if the embroidery and tassels are as stunning as this. Honestly, it's worth the wait. And did you notice how I just wore a plain tank and shorts? I didn't have to make the extra effort because this blazer (yes, I will say it again) stole the show.

Of course I went to support my sister Liz Uy's launch as the newest endorser for Plains and Prints. I remember when I was still in college, I'd raid my sister's closet to find classy/corporate clothes for my course and find a lot of Plains and Prints pieces. We all know she's a glamorous and classy girl, but off the camera, she really works A LOT. She has styling shoots everyday so their items suit her best because it's classy, chic and comfortable. Congratulations Liz! I swear, she's really the perfect face for the brand. (dash, sister. hahaha) BMS.

Love

(LOVE dress, SM Accessories necklace/bangles/ring, Furla bag, Stylebreak inner skirt, S&H wedges)

Whenever I look more dainty than my usual outfits- I usually have shoots for teen magazines. I had just finished one with Candy magazine and was assisted by the council of cool girls. When I saw them, I really remembered myself when I was 15. I was an intern for Candy and did exactly the same things they did- such a memorable experience! Anyway, I wore this LOVE dress because of its sheer and dramatic long tail. Also, it's so easy to remove when I'm changing into the clothes I have to wear for the shoot. Taking about convenience, I chose to wear these wedges because they're so comfortable and not as high as my other regular wedges. Gold accessories made it look extra classy too, don't you think? Abstract

(Goody ouchless tie, Sol Accessories necklaces, Stylebreak top, SM Accessories bangles, Alexander Mcqueen clutch, Iconique leggings, Feet for a Queen heels)

This is basically the outfit I've missed wearing- a plain loose top, tights and heels. I'm not really a fan of leggings but when I saw this weirdly fab abstract-looking pair from Iconique, I just couldn't resist getting myself one. I think it's because of the bright colors and mixed up prints that got me so fond of it (and that fact that it matched my Mcqueen clutch too). And that's not it, these edgy multiple silver necklaces from Sol Accessories didn't really match my look, but strangely made it so much better- definitely an eye-catcher. Various designs of silver necklaces put together is the ish. BMS.
