Singapore Day 1

(Fashion Wrappz top, Bring rings, Marc By Marc Jacobs bag, Shorts Station shorts, S&H shoes)

First day in Singapore! I’m such a huge fan of wearing casual pieces- I always have some fun by mixing seemingly incompatible styles and prints- or those who I think doesn't match but actually do. This animal print top from Fashion Wrappz is really cool, it's silk fabric in front but plain and sheer at the back- making it very breezy for me to talk all day in Singapore. I’ve always been into balancing certain looks when it comes to dressing up- The classic and sexy appeal of this top really caught my eye and pairing it with this pair of shorts from Shorts Station made it definitely look youthful and fun. This particular set is also an example of mixing prints and style. If you want to feel comfortable and relaxed, I suggest you buy this colorful and lovely pair of shorts. They're extremely cute and perfect for summer. I’m in love with them because of its bright orange color and there's something going on about the aztec print pockets that just add a sexy feeling to it. BMS.

Animal Instinct

(Anagon headpiece, Drop n' Shop sunglasses, SM Accessories necklaces, Choies top, Balenciaga bag, Crossings shorts, S&H wedge sneakers)

Animal prints have received so much love by me- especially tiger prints. For some reason, I find them so attractive that I probably have like ten tiger print tops now. The design of this one really caught my eye though. Some trends come and go but there are a few that will stay timeless. Animal prints always roar back into the fashion world (that, or they never seem to go away) and this is the perfect time to incorporate animistic elements into our outfit- still not summer and you can still wear long sleeved pieces while it's not too hot yet. Show off your feline instincts with this jungle inspired sheer top from Choies! Wearing sneaker wedges was a brilliant idea, especially I had to run errands the whole day. It's so comfy too! Going with animal prints as a style statement remains a sure bet.

Okay, so I know this is out of the topic, but I just want to show you guys this video I found on youtube. It's a Calvin Klein Concept video debuted during the Super Bowl and it just reminded me that summer is very near and I need to work out more. I know it's not a girl in the video, but he's so fit that I told myself, "Wow, I need to get more toned." Aside from boxing, I want to try a new sport. I actually want to try out Plana Forma. I'll probably do it by March. Okay, going back to this video- watch it and if you don't get inspired, ewan ko nalang sayo! BMS.

The Black Dress

(SM Accessories necklace/ bangles, Van Vogue Manila dress, Miss Sartorial detachable peplum, S&H booties)

This one-of-a-kind elegant dress incredibly surprised me- especially when I found out it came from Van Vogue Manila, a local online shop based and the designer really sketches the dresses herself. Don't you just love the front and back detail of this dress?! Wearing this made me so excited- I wore it from day until night. Van Vogue Manila will probably be one of my favorite local online shops. Beautifully in line with my edgy side and great expressing of balance, I wore this detachable peplum from Miss Sartorial for the sophisticated effect. Okay, can I just say, this is probably going to be overused. I love how you can pair this detachable peplum with everything: skirts, pants, shorts, dresses, etc. Definitely adds character to your normal attire. The fact that it's leather too makes it look extra stunning. Bet you thought the peplum was actually part of the dress, right? Seriously, you gotta have one!
This dress can flatter you body shape regardless of any season- that's why they call this attire "the little black dress" na mejo trendy lang haha. During the day, you can wear a blazer so you won't feel too glammed up. If you're going to attend an event, this is THE look. Perfect for a night out with friends while sipping some yummy Bollinger champagne. In other words, this entire look is ideal for the "day to night" look. BMS.

Coral + Mint

Dressing up is really an open forum wherein you can express everything and anything you want to everyone and anyone. Pastels + florals are really cool colors for the eyes. I chose this outfit for a lazy afternoon like this and I wanted to be more playful so I wore this mint green lace undergarments from Wacoal. When talking about undergarments, it's crucial that you take into consideration the following things: Are you wearing the right size? Is this the best undergarment for your figure? What undergarments will help give you the best shape?
For this look, I went for the color mint green because it really contrasted well with my coral top. The color combination was so nice and the peep on the side really added a lot to my look.
Aren't these red items amazing? Speaking of red...
These red undergarments are also a nice way to make your look sexier. Imagine wearing a black loose top with these just slowly peeking. Some people often don’t realize that they are wearing the wrong undergarment until they finally get their hands on some good ones. Just because you can’t see what’s under your clothes doesn’t mean you can just wear whatever. Wearing the right undergarment will give you that extra confidence. There are so many different types of underwear that come in different styles, fabrics, and sizes... and Wacoal wants to help you make sure you get the right pair of underwear that will meet the needs of your body.
(Bangkok hat, York Accessories necklaces/ bracelets/ ring, Wacoal undergarments, Monkee Business top, Chloe bag, Pink Manila shorts, S&H flats)

Whoever says you can't mix and match your top and undergarments probably never tried them before. I love it! It really makes a huge different when you wear something cute inside. It's enough to brighten up the entire look and change how you feel about yourself. Anyway, we all know that I am a huge fan of accessories so I really got fascinated with these eye-catching accessories from York, especially the eye ring. The necklaces are so colorful and light too – a nice way to make your look extra pretty without your neck hurting from piling on too much pieces. BMS.

Lavender

(Mademoiselle necklace, Tattle Tuesdays dress, Primadonna belt, Lunachic dolphin bracelet, Extreme Finds square bangle, Celine bag, SM Accessories rings, S&H heels)

Lavender is one of my favorite colors. There's something about this soft color that makes my day happy and light. I can't even count the times I've asked my manicurist to paint my nails lavender. It's really not normal for me to find a flowy dress (that I like) in a lavender color so imagine my happiness when I found this at Tattle Tuesdays- and the satisfaction that I got when I wore it was unexplainable. I love the overlapping effect of the sheer fabric below. Flowy dresses can make you look feminine and classy all the time, but when worn with a studded belt, it makes a difference. Though the studs were subtle, the color of the belt and bag really stood out, making this lavender dress more sweet and sophisticated. BMS.

Iligan City

(Topshop hat, Rayban sunnies, Bubbles necklace, Bershka top, SM Accessories belt, Ministry of Retail skirt, S&H shoes)

For our third adventurous day, we decided to go to Iligan City and visit some of God's creations- waterfalls. I decided to be a bit more girly by wearing a cropped top with a maxi skirt. Color blocking lang ang peg! When I go out of town, I usually wear sunnies because I'm too lazy to put on make up and of course, it really is super sunny during the day (around 9am-3pm)
Maria Cristina Waterfalls. I remember studying this way back when I was still in grade school. Can't believe I actually saw it with my own eyes. It's so beautiful, right?
Tinago in english is "hidden" and this one is called Tinago Falls because it really is in a hidden area. You have to go through a long, deserted road to be able to go here. Not only that- when you arrive, you have to walk 484 steps down to see it and 484 steps back up to leave. It's really worth it though. I swam too- my first time again.
Robbie living like a local- he climbed the rocks and did a flip while diving! Check out his blog too if you want to know more about our trip.
This trip really changed my outlook in life- no kidding. Now I want to do a lot more stuff I've never imagined doing. Cagayan De Oro and Iligan City, I had fun! BMS.
