Skull and Studs

(Lemon Shop hat/ top, SM Accessories necklaces/ bracelets, Casio watch, Alexander Wang bag, Bubbles shorts, Das shoes)

Style is very important. I love how it can be used to express personality and you also have a lot of room for creativity. I love working with my outfits to help define my own sense of style and taste. I'm still at that experimental phase and I really find myself loving camo items now. Of course, this skull top is really a wonderful piece to pair with the shorts. The fringes on the back of this sleeveless top will really catch attention and make them stare at your outfit longer. This top is perfect for casual parties because it's loose and you'll feel breezy the entire time. It's also the right balance between being edgy and looking sexy. To add an extra impact to the look, I wore this cute hat from Lemon Shop. I've been asked many times where I get hats like these and my previous ones were always  from my out of the country trips, so I'm happy to announce that you can buy it locally/ online now. Since my look is laid back, I glammed it up by wearing these Das shoes. BMS.

Lights All Over

(Goody hair tie, Cole Vintage necklace, Seventh Street top/ shorts, Casio watch, Kandi Treats cuff, Chanel bag, Comfit heels)

I have to be honest. Having same prints + strong colors really mark on my mind. I’ve seen and thought of far more creative ways to accessorize and be more creative if my looks are bold and out there- that’s why I love this top and short from Seventh Street. One bright thing I can say is its prints are able to effortlessly standout and its radiant presence cannot be denied. This matching top + shorts combination also make you look more sophisticated than usual. It's really because of the magnificent prints and outstanding quality of the fabric- that's why I wore this when I was invited to be a speaker for Entrepreneur Magazine.
I was invited to be one of the four speakers to share how I turned my passion into business. I normally get emails to be speakers in some schools, events and universities but I always find myself too shy to participate- however this was an exception. I was really honored when I got this invite. I shared how I started and how the blogging community influences me in my everyday living. I was also very proud and honored to meet different people from the business world.
This year, I will try and engage more in these kinds of talks and events. BMS.

Corsets

(Wacoal corset, Iora blazer, YSL bag, Casio watch, Luscious Closet shorts, Comfit heels)

This is the combination of a functional fit and fashion details that creates an all-day everyday comfort look. Wacoal, known for its great undergarments, presents this beautiful corset that will truly make everyone want to buy this. Corsets are really a lifesaver if you don't have anything else to wear. You can wear it with a blazer, pair it with jeans / shorts, use it as a layer under your sheer tops, etc. To balance off this clean and crisp look, I wore this studded bag and buckle heels for that classy effect. Plus, it really did make the entire ensemble look subtly sexy, right?
These specific Wacoal corsets feature ultra-flattering sweetheart cuts, clean lines and perfect silhouettes for both over and under clothing. The big surprise with these corsets is the soft yet padded underwire cups. I always keep it in mind that nice fitting of undergarments can really affect my overall look, posture and on how my clothes will look on me. BMS.

Camo

(SM Accessories necklace/ bracelets, H&M top, Bebe Finds polo/ skirt, Alexander Wang bag, Casio watch, Ministry of Retail boots)

I can honestly say I never imagined the day I’d see camouflage being this big of a trend. The idea of incorporating this camo top from Bebe Finds into my look was exactly something I'd jump with excitement to try. Brown tones are really ideal for morenas, you know. Finding a way to highlight the trend while staying true to my edgy style was actually pretty fun. While it might be a good idea to leave the fatigues to the real soldiers, this military print- ironically enough known for its ability to blend in- made sure I'll stand out. If you're fully ready to enlist in this camo craze, be sure to balance out the masculinity by pairing your camouflage with other printed pieces like this skirt. What I really love about this skirt is giving me the exact shape that I’ve wanted- it's body hugging too, making it very comfortable to wear. Lastly, to complete my entire look, I wore these booties. Very Alexa Chung lang ang peg! Hahaha. Love this overall look. BMS.

These Flats Are Made For Walking

(SM Accessories hat/ belt, Fab Czhik necklaces, You Shop With Love bracelets, Casio watch, Reve dress, Balenciaga bag, Zecca flats)

People always notice whenever my outfit is for a lazy day, a day filled with meetings or events. This, however, blurs the line. I really wanted to be in a comfy attire so I decided to wear this maxi mullet dress from Reve. It looks really nice, and it's unbelievable comfy too! This animal-printed dress is visually shaped by solid-hues that outline the flattering silhouette. It's extremely relaxing to wear and stylish at the same time. I can dress it up or down. I also wore this sandals from Zecca and it really made my entire look more chill. Of course, wearing flats make you move faster too. I went to Beauty and Butter to get a pedicure too so these flats were perfect to wear! It's so fancy, so thin-soled and so elegant. It's edgy because of the studs and sweet at the same time. BMS.

Bangkok, Thailand

(Rayban sunnies, Style Staple top, On The Dot vest, Twinkies Inc. spike bangles/ rings, Casio watch, Twinkies Inc. shorts, Schu flats)

For our last day in Bangkok, I decided to wear something light since it was hot and we were determined to go everywhere! I love how clean looking my vest is- and it's definitely better because it's two toned, giving that cool effect. Of course, it did definitely match my Twinkies Inc. shorts. It gives that tropical vibe an entirely different feel- plus the bright colors really did justice to my entire look. Even if my top (which has been one of my favorite travel pieces every time I go abroad) is just white, my ensemble didn't look plain at all. I piled on several spiked accessories to make the look tougher. It's been a while since I wore connector rings, and because of these pieces, I think I'm going to use them again. Triangle overload!
So... I wasn't able to get a lot of travel photos from our Bangkok/ Phuket trip. We only had two days to shop, eat and go around. Here are some of my Instagram photos.

And since it was our first time to travel in a different country altogether, we wanted to make it memorable... by doing a crazy Gangnam Style video!!! HAHAHA. Thank you Bobby Maddatu for editing it. You can watch it HERE too. Enjoy. BMS.

Red It Is

(Super sunglasses, Wardrobe Check corset and skirt, Mauve accessories, Casio watch, Crocs flats)

There's always a first time for everything! This doesn't apply to just life experiences, but in clothes as well. I went to Tagaytay a few weeks ago with some friends for my birthday. I knew it was going to be a fun day so I wore this unique checkered top and printed peplum skirt from Wardrobe Check. I was very surprised with this corset + cropped top- the details on the back adds a little drama on my outfit and gave the entire look a surprise.  This peplum skirt on the other hand really helps me hide my stomach! Plus the fit is just perfect. Talk about hitting two birds with one stone! I love it when I pair items from the same store- less hassle for me. I wanted to be more playful for my entire look so I wore this skull and spike bracelets for an edgy effect. BMS.
