Under the Weather

(Goody hair tie, SM Accessories scarf, Plains and Prints polo, Mango jacket, Celine bag, Butintings ring, Zara leggings, Uniqlo socks, Cole Vintage flats)

Hello Hong Kong!! I love going to HK during this season because the weather is just perfect. Layering clothes is a must so I got this jacket at Mango (luckily it was 50% off too) that was just right for the weather here. Black will never be out of style and it's also something that will make you look classy in any occasion, so my entire apparel was black and I added pops of color like my scarf and bag just so it won't look boring. The studs on my jacket and the dots on my socks are a wonderful combination too. These pieces can be found in SM Mall of Asia. I love how SM MOA has everything you need.
I'll be posting more photos of my HK trip in the future, but for now- I just had to share these amazing photos that my friend Khai Van Kampen took of me. When I knew I was going here, it was a no brainer to get him as my photographer. He just takes photos as a hobby but you can clearly see that he has exceptional skill.
It's actually SM Mall of Asia's end of season sale and they're down to their last four days.. so hurry!! Aside from the clothes I wore above, expect the prices to go down until 70% off on selected items from participating brands like Shoe Salon, VNC, Kamiseta,  Bench, Lacoste, MAC, Muji, Calvin Klein, Charles & Keith, CMG, Bayo, Cotton On, Fino, Aldo, F&H, Warehouse, Dorothy Perkins and a lot more. You can check the End of Season Sale poster for more details or follow them on Twitter and like them on Facebook. Happy shopping! BMS.

Lights All Over

(Goody hair tie, Cole Vintage necklace, Seventh Street top/ shorts, Casio watch, Kandi Treats cuff, Chanel bag, Comfit heels)

I have to be honest. Having same prints + strong colors really mark on my mind. I’ve seen and thought of far more creative ways to accessorize and be more creative if my looks are bold and out there- that’s why I love this top and short from Seventh Street. One bright thing I can say is its prints are able to effortlessly standout and its radiant presence cannot be denied. This matching top + shorts combination also make you look more sophisticated than usual. It's really because of the magnificent prints and outstanding quality of the fabric- that's why I wore this when I was invited to be a speaker for Entrepreneur Magazine.
I was invited to be one of the four speakers to share how I turned my passion into business. I normally get emails to be speakers in some schools, events and universities but I always find myself too shy to participate- however this was an exception. I was really honored when I got this invite. I shared how I started and how the blogging community influences me in my everyday living. I was also very proud and honored to meet different people from the business world.
This year, I will try and engage more in these kinds of talks and events. BMS.

Rainbow

(Versace sunnies, SM Accessories necklaces, Mademoiselle top, Cole Vintage cover up, Lunachic bangles, Chloe bag,  IAAH shorts, Tribute shoes)

When I came back from Cebu, I didn't have any extra accessories and flats with me and I had to meet with friends after. Uh-oh! Good thing I always have extra items in my car (I swear, my car is my house). I  intentionally left these orange SM Accessories and Tribute flats because I knew they were gonna be handy someday. These flats tamed my very colorful outfit but still made a statement because of its snakeskin design. It's foldable too, so I can bring it with me if I want to wear wedges during nighttime. When I arrived from Cebu, I really looked very vibrant but simpler because I didn't wear any accessories- It's amazing how accessories and heels/flats can actually change your entire look and feel. My advice? Always have extra pieces in your car for emergencies. BMS.

Ready For Summer

Majolica Majorca lip/cheek tint, perfume and mascara
If you haven't heard about this brand, well, I'm introducing it to you now. It's under the Shiseido company, meaning its products are very asian friendly. Aside from the classy packaging, their products are WOW- and good news? They're more affordable than my other make up products.
Pop Phone and Mili Power Bean
I finally gave in to this craze and got a pop phone, you connect  it on your phone, laptop, etc if you have someone to talk to. It's really a cute accessory!! Plus, I can't wait to try this useful power bean portable charger. I always have to charge my three times a day (mobile addict lang) so this will be my savior! The design is neat too so you won't have annoying cords showing. And if you're ready to go to the beach, you have to have this.
 Avon Simply Pretty lipsticks/eyeshadow cream-liner
Very bagets lang ang packaging! I love their shades of lipsticks- it screams out "young" and "fresh". The shades are perfect for summer! Their two-in-one cream eyeshadow and liner is the best! I always bring make up with me and my bag becomes heavy, so this is really a winner!
Cole Vintage gold flats, Sugarfree studded flats, Soleil striped flats
Giving you options on what flats to wear if you're glam, edgy or sporty.
Magic Potions foundations/cream
Get these now before they run out. These are specially made for summer time (or people who live in tropical countries)
1. Summer Luminiser- it can be used as a make up base it and it'll make your face glow because of it's pearly shimmer.
2. Summer Trio BB cream- what I really need. It's for people who have dry skin.
3. Summer Teen BB cream- for oily and acne prone skin. Pang age natin! Bagets lang!
If you use BB cream, you really don't have to put foundation or powder during normal days- what a winner! BMS.

Two Prints

(Topshop earrings, Stylebreak dress, Cole Vintage bangle, Butingtings rings, Sugarfree pumps)

I attended the Clinique event last week with friends and they just announced that Paolo Maranan is now part of Clinique- so being one of his clients, I watched the entire show and supported him all the way. I love his make up! Nakakaganda! It started around 7pm so I decided to wear a statement Stylebreak dress- long sleeves so that it's still proper for the event and at the same time backless so I won't be too covered up. I just love how the dress has two prints that go together- totally makes the vibe young and trendy.
Speaking of Stylebreak, I was featured in "Kabuhayang Swak na Swak," a morning show in ABSCBN. They featured Stylebreak and my blog and how I started doing these things. If you're an aspiring business girl or if you want to start your own blog- maybe you can get some tips by watching the video HERE. My segment starts at around 12 minutes on the first part of the video. BMS.
**Stylebreak available in Crossings Trinoma and Crossings Shangri-la Mall.**

Messenger Girl

(Cole Vintage top, Project Muse bangle, Bubbles necklace/rings, Topshop shorts, Serial Apparel bag, TLTSN shoes)

I'm sure you know I don't normally blog about bags- It's because I'm always too lazy to change bags, especially if I'm in a rush. But when I saw this brown satchel online from Serial Apparel, I knew I had to get it. It just compliments my entire look- it sort of reminds me of my high school/ college days- perfect for schooling because the space is huge inside, meaning you don't have to carry that much books in your hands. I must say, satchels are very practical- and with the variety of colors that they have, you'd surely want to buy everything. And because of this, I decided to wear flats and just feel like a college student once again. BMS.

Pastels

(Miss Sartorial detachable collar, Bottomline top, Cole Vintage bangle, Extreme Finds tiny bangles, Giftsahoy rings, Alexander Wang bag, Topshop jeans and heels)

I picked up a friend in Ortigas and happened to pass by Escriva Drive. The background just fits my entire outfit- pastels. If you think about it, I actually wore a top and a pair of jeans, but what made it look nicer was the detachable collar (so innovative) and my studded bag to still add a mix of edginess on my entire look. Innocent

(WAGW top, Cole Vintage bangle, Thread Manila skirt, TLTSN wedges)

This pearly top isn't my style but when I saw it at WAGW, I knew I had to buy it. Paired it with a pleated white skirt too, just so I can be a dainty girl for this day (thank god for pleated skirts! I've been looking for this for the longest time).  To even out this feminine look, I gave it a touch of color by wearing a turquoise bangle and semi-green wedges. Btw, I came from a shoot this day, hence the smokey eyes make up. BMS.
