Pangulasian Island, El Nido

(Rayban sunnies, Island Girl necklace, Bayo maxi dress, Havaianas slippers)

Last weekend, I went to Unilever's first ever Personal Care (PC) Summit which was held at Pangulasian Island in El Nido, Palawan. Believe me when I say it's one of the nicest beaches I've ever been to. The afternoon was filled with presentations and fun talks of the brands they're handling like Rexona, Tresemme, Close Up and more. Being a brand ambassador this summer for Vaseline, I had my own pavillion wherein I shared my three summer essentials (more of this on my future posts). I wore this maxi dress from Bayo, my favorite piece of clothing this summer season by the way, so I can look fun and vibrant. Dressed up with heels- these dresses give you a look of casual sophistication that’s appropriate for a night party. Dressed down with sandals/ flip flops- this maxi dress worked wonderfully. For me, this is one of the summer must-haves because it definitely makes you look classy and dressed up (in an appropriate way) at the beach. BMS.

Cut Outs

(Shop Akira dress, A Boutique necklaces, Chanel bag, Island Girl bangle, TLTSN shoes)

This peek-a-boo dress from Shop Akira is extremely adorable. This dress can make you look curvier because of the inward cuts towards the belly part. I actually wore this for my guesting on Myx Channel because I knew it would make me look thinner on TV. For me, cutout dresses have been everyone’s favorite- especially when it comes to showing off toned bellies (I'm not saying mine is toned hahaha). I paired my outfit with these neon necklaces from A Boutique. We all know that neons are my favorite. It's loud and will not escape the attention of anyone. The colors of these layered necklaces are radiating and fun. I'm really hooked on neon electric hues. The fringe + spike combination really worked, plus it really made the entire look more vibrant. BMS.

Beachy

(SM Accessories hat, Rayban sunnies, Chiz dress, Island Girl bangles, Furla bag)

There's something about the color orange that makes a girl's skin look more tan. I decided to take a rest from swimming and wear this dress instead. Of course, I still wore a swimsuit inside just in case I'll be tempted, but this Chiz dress was the perfect cover up for me. BMS.

Hearts and Studs

(H&M hat, Island Girl necklace/ bangle, Lemon Shop top, Marc Jacobs bag, Trunk Show shorts, Primaluxe shoes)

It was a very windy day in Hong Kong. A VERY windy day. I just had to repeat it, kaloka kasi yung weather! It didn't stop me from taking an outfit shot though. I went to the top floor of IFC mall and took my photos there. It just stopped raining and I didn't know if it was gonna rain again so I wore a hat to protect me from the rain. To make this casual look a little bit different, I wore a mullet top (as usual) and paired it with very cute printed shorts. But the highlight of this look is actually my very comfortable Primaluxe flats. If you look at it, you might think it's painful because of the studs, but it's super not! I was so shocked when I tried it on because they're EXTRA snug. I think it's because of the blue suede fabric that makes it super relaxing to wear. I was sooo ready to attack IFC mall! BMS.

Beach Bum

(Tsunami Wear cover up, Versace sunnies, H&M bikini top, SM Accessories bangles/scarf, Island Girl flats)

I can never go to the beach wearing just a bikini- ironic right? But unless you're inside the water, I really think you should at least wear a pair of shorts or a cover up. So I went to Boracay for an overnight stay- actually I was supposed to go with my friends for the entire Labor Day weekend but since I had work, I decided to just follow and spend two days being a beach bum. I wore this animal print cover up from Tsunami Wear because it's so easy to remove and wear again (perfect when you're going in an out of the water) plus it's sheer too so you still have that beach vibe. Of course I had to bring this huge scarf used as a beach towel to protect my things from getting sand inside them. BMS.

Iba Zambales

(Island Girl necklaces, House of Eva top, Fashion Galore cover up, Hailey and Five bracelets, Topshop shorts, Sugarfree shoes)

I just did a show in Iba Zambales last week for their festival called "Mango Festival". They invited dancers, performers, rappers, singers, etc and I was lucky enough to be part of it and had to sing a few songs. To everyone who has heard me sing before, I'm not really that good- and the fact that I had to sing live made me extra nervous. I can't even explain how scared I was, but it all went away once I entered the stage. I felt the love of the people who watched and thankfully, they were able to listen to my voice. It was such a fun experience! I talked to them and I even had a few people come up the stage with me. The people were very welcoming and loving. It's really more fun in the Philippines. I would definitely love to go back there again. Thank you Iba Zambales for having me! BMS.

Retro

(Island Girl necklace, K2 top/dress, Luna Chic bangles, Dolce and Gabbana bag, Topshop shorts, Giftsahoy booties)

This dress' design has three neck holes in it, so you can play around and experiment with it in so many ways. I decided to wear it like this- putting the two extra holes inside my arms to achieve this effect. I just love how innovative items of clothing are nowadays. Here are my two favorite ways of wearing it. It just matched my new purple booties too- and I love how my shoes look like JCs, but it actually looks edgier with the studs.
Also, upon checking my fan page a while ago, I saw this particular comment on my page- she's the editor of fashion blogs column for Serbian (Europe) fashion and lifestyle magazine and she featured my blog HERE. I didn't understand anything- good thing google has that pop up button "translate" on top. I love google. BMS.
