Stripes

(Goody ouchless tie, Versace sunnies, Bubbles necklace/ neon bangle, The Chic Closet sheer top, SM GTW dress, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, Crocs shoes)

I don't know why I decided to go all out on stripes this day, but all I know is I wanted to be comfy because I styled for a fashion editorial for Preview magazine. It was my first time to style an editorial for them and I was so nervous that Vince (my brother) was going to creative direct. It's so funny because you'd think I'd be more comfortable, but I was so pressured- I wanted him to love all the looks I styled. Whew! Anyway, I decided to wear this long dress so I can move around freely and layer this sheer polo from The Chic Closet on top. Since it's sheer and the stripes are vertical, it made a wonderful effect with the overlapping horizontal stripes underneath. The thing about this top is you can wear it alone, as a layer or as an inside piece. Normally, I'd wear it this inside and wear a blazer over it but to be more fun, I chose to wear it as a layer. Lastly, I wore these incredibly comfy Crocs rubber shoes for that japanese-y effect. Peace. BMS.

Rainbow

(Versace sunnies, SM Accessories necklaces, Mademoiselle top, Cole Vintage cover up, Lunachic bangles, Chloe bag,  IAAH shorts, Tribute shoes)

When I came back from Cebu, I didn't have any extra accessories and flats with me and I had to meet with friends after. Uh-oh! Good thing I always have extra items in my car (I swear, my car is my house). I  intentionally left these orange SM Accessories and Tribute flats because I knew they were gonna be handy someday. These flats tamed my very colorful outfit but still made a statement because of its snakeskin design. It's foldable too, so I can bring it with me if I want to wear wedges during nighttime. When I arrived from Cebu, I really looked very vibrant but simpler because I didn't wear any accessories- It's amazing how accessories and heels/flats can actually change your entire look and feel. My advice? Always have extra pieces in your car for emergencies. BMS.

Plain is Sexy

(Versace sunnies, customized top, Fashion Wearhaus bracelets, Givenchy bag, Cotton On short, Michael Antonio pumps)

Who says you can't wear just a plain white tank and shorts on a normal day? I had just finished a shoot and because the weather was unbelievably hot, I only wore this. I didn't even bother excessorizing and instead went for these Swarovski bracelets from Fashion Wearhaus. Sometimes, less is more- and these bracelets helped me a lot. It added a little spunk to my plain look. You know, you actually look and feel more sexy if you don't pile on accessories. But remind you, this is just me saying you can still wear plain items on a normal day- I'd still prefer to be fashion forward. BMS.

Beach Bum

(Tsunami Wear cover up, Versace sunnies, H&M bikini top, SM Accessories bangles/scarf, Island Girl flats)

I can never go to the beach wearing just a bikini- ironic right? But unless you're inside the water, I really think you should at least wear a pair of shorts or a cover up. So I went to Boracay for an overnight stay- actually I was supposed to go with my friends for the entire Labor Day weekend but since I had work, I decided to just follow and spend two days being a beach bum. I wore this animal print cover up from Tsunami Wear because it's so easy to remove and wear again (perfect when you're going in an out of the water) plus it's sheer too so you still have that beach vibe. Of course I had to bring this huge scarf used as a beach towel to protect my things from getting sand inside them. BMS.

Cheetah

(Goody ouchless tie, Versace glasses, Miss Selfridge jumpsuit, Hailey and Five necklace/bracelets, Givenchy bag, Alexander Wang heels)

I fell in love with this leopard jumpsuit as soon as I saw it. The fact that it's a jumpsuit makes it very suitable for summer (wearing less, while not having to worry about your skirt blowing up! haha), but these Hailey and Five accessories really brought the outfit to life. Piling up thin, colorful bracelets made a huge difference. As the leopard print has quite soft tones, I feel the vibrant colors of the accessories really spiced things up. Further, I love the sidebar on the frames of my shades as they also added something to the outfit that the leopard print alone cannot do. BMS.
