Sparkly and Bubbly

(Sunski polaroid sunnies, Bubbles necklaces, SheInside shirt/ shorts, Nails by Beauty and Butter, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, Sophisticat flats)

I had a shoot last week for one a very exciting brand and I knew the shoot was going to be outdoors. Now, knowing that it's summer and the heat is scorching hot (not to mention that we shot in the morning so the weather was unbearable), I wanted to be very comfy. Of course, the sunlight can hurt your eyes, so I wore these cool pair of sunnies from Sunski. I'm really addicted to their sunnies- I  hoarded all four different colors of their polarized lens. You should check their collection of sunnies- it's a must-have this summer. One fact why it's a must to wear sunnies: When the sun is really harsh, you tend to squint- and from squinting, you'll get wrinkles. O diba! Informative hahaha. Aside from that, we all know that sunnies are really important not only to sharpen our look but also to protect us from sunrays. Talking about the sun, I usually wear these kind of looks during lazy days under the smiling sun- and lately I find myself loving loose tee tops to satisfy my comfort. Who says comfort can't be mixed with fashion?! I had to pair it with my sparkling sequined shorts from Sheinside. This one is different because it has an extra fabric inside so I won't be irritated wearing this the whole day. BMS.

Out and About

(Charlie sunnies, SM Accessories necklace, Casio watch, Giftsahoy top, Chloe bag, Bubbles skirt, Tutum Shop shoes)

Create a trendy ensemble with a laid-back vibe by pairing this Aztec print top and skater skirt that exudes a touch of  vibrancy and youth. I also feel that I had a trip going back to my younger days with this outfit- throwing prints with pop-up colors.  Speaking of prints, lately I find myself obsessed with camouflage prints (as you've noticed on my previous posts). I have been on a hunt, looking for camo flats to please my obsession- since that's the only camo item I don't have. When I saw this pair of flats from Tutum Shop, I know I had to get it for myself. It's perfect for traveling: an all black ensemble plus this is absolutely fantastic. The studs on the side give it an extra edge too. Details do make it extra edgy, just like how the zipper on the side make it extra trendy. I'm very meticulous when it comes to choosing shoes, so I can definitely say this pair of flats is an eye-catcher.  The kind of print is definitely one of my faves this summer- I can rock glam or a casual look with it, but either way you just got to wear it with confidence. Modern Gypsy

(Personalized Accessories necklace, Dress Code Project top, Super Finds bracelets, ALT Manila clutch, Bubbles skirt, Alaia heels)

The idea of this ensemble is simple- I make the most out of the combination, colors and patterns while holding onto my own style. I attended the Close Up Summer Solstice event a few weeks ago and wore this. Being one of the brand ambassadors, I decided to wear this blue cropped top with my printed mullet skirt. I am really in love with this top- nothing I've ever owned before. The fabric feels so nice and the off shoulder effect really makes the look flirty and fun. The entire get up made me feel like a modern gypsy! Now, this handbag I got it from ALT Manila is a must-have. I can bring the important things I have to everyday and I'd still look sleek. The zipper one-line detail made the clutch look extra edgy and admirable, don't you think? What's nice about clutches like this is that it works both ways: you can use it as your actual bag, or your gadgets bag when you have meetings. Put your ipad, ipad mini, phones, etc and you're good to go. Look professional and fashionable at the same time! I also love the color cobalt blue- it's striking and unusual, but not over the top. If you want to make a statement, choose pieces that are just as bold and alive and clash them together.

Flare

(Super sunnies, Twinkies Inc top, Zebra Moda necklaces/ watch, Jhajing ribbon bracelet, Balenciaga bag, Bubbles skirt, Schu flats)

Do not be afraid of picking up some accessories that may seem a little bit too cute or glamorous. Taking risks are actually a nice thing. Experiment a little so you'll get to know your own sense of style more. As long as they match the style you are going for- they will definitely make you look amazing. These accessories from Zebra Moda are so classy and elegant. I used neutral colors on my outfit to emphasize more my accessories and also to grab attention where I want it and for it to compliment my look. Black and gold are really a classy combination and it never fails to make anyone look more luxe. Subtle prints like this polka dot top under with my snakeskin necklace give texture to my entire look.

Skull and Studs

(Lemon Shop hat/ top, SM Accessories necklaces/ bracelets, Casio watch, Alexander Wang bag, Bubbles shorts, Das shoes)

Style is very important. I love how it can be used to express personality and you also have a lot of room for creativity. I love working with my outfits to help define my own sense of style and taste. I'm still at that experimental phase and I really find myself loving camo items now. Of course, this skull top is really a wonderful piece to pair with the shorts. The fringes on the back of this sleeveless top will really catch attention and make them stare at your outfit longer. This top is perfect for casual parties because it's loose and you'll feel breezy the entire time. It's also the right balance between being edgy and looking sexy. To add an extra impact to the look, I wore this cute hat from Lemon Shop. I've been asked many times where I get hats like these and my previous ones were always  from my out of the country trips, so I'm happy to announce that you can buy it locally/ online now. Since my look is laid back, I glammed it up by wearing these Das shoes. BMS.
