Skull and Studs

(Lemon Shop hat/ top, SM Accessories necklaces/ bracelets, Casio watch, Alexander Wang bag, Bubbles shorts, Das shoes)

Style is very important. I love how it can be used to express personality and you also have a lot of room for creativity. I love working with my outfits to help define my own sense of style and taste. I'm still at that experimental phase and I really find myself loving camo items now. Of course, this skull top is really a wonderful piece to pair with the shorts. The fringes on the back of this sleeveless top will really catch attention and make them stare at your outfit longer. This top is perfect for casual parties because it's loose and you'll feel breezy the entire time. It's also the right balance between being edgy and looking sexy. To add an extra impact to the look, I wore this cute hat from Lemon Shop. I've been asked many times where I get hats like these and my previous ones were always  from my out of the country trips, so I'm happy to announce that you can buy it locally/ online now. Since my look is laid back, I glammed it up by wearing these Das shoes. BMS.

Here Kitty Kitty

(Lemon Shop hat, SM Accessories necklace/ bangle, Stylebreak top, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, Asian Pop leggings, J&M flats)

Trying to be creative and experimental with my look ended up like this: wearing a neon beanie on the head and engaging a very interesting head turning game in the streets (who wouldn't look at this cute neon hat during the day right? Haha). This beanie from Lemon Shop is really something- they always have these cute hats that please me. I've been looking for these kind of hats for the longest time and I'm really happy I found them! Plus it really is the perfect time to wear my flats from J&M (an amazing online shop I just discovered). I rarely wear flats, but when I find something that I really like, I just have to have them. Iba ang comfort level nitong flats na to! Plus, it really made the entire ensemble look more relaxed. I’ve been really in love with online shopping lately- I find a lot of very exclusive pieces. It's what I do if I want some statement pieces or interesting details to add my look. BMS.

Wear White

A few weeks ago, I had a shoot at the Blanc Gallery for Philippines Star. It was a quick shoot and it was my first feature this 2013 too! Here are some behind the scenes photos from the shoot.
I love it when Roy Macam takes my photos. He's such a natural!
I'm also addicted to this Lemon Shop headband. It's such a great way to accentuate your entire ensemble. The pearls make the entire look softer and more relaxed. Now, here's the final photo that they used:
(Lemon Shop headband, Virgos Lounge top, H&M skirt, Gareth Pugh shoes)
The theme of the shoot was "How to Wear White This Year" and this was my interpretation. I wanted to wear pieces that make a statement even without any effort- so I wore these:
     1. Lemon Shop headband- something that will definitely make any look cuter.
     2. Virgos Lounge top- sequined dots never fail! I like it loose too, making me look thinner and taller.
     3. Uneven skirt from H&M- striking.
     4. Gareth Pugh wedges- I don't even have to describe how this can make a statement
I'm also happy to be featured with lovely ladies Kai Lim, Lucille Dizon and Janthina Fong! If you want to read the entire article, just click HERE. Thank you so much Bea Ledesma for including in your article. BMS.

Animal Prints

(Super sunnies, Be Like A Star necklaces, Krisp Collection top/ leggings, Lemon cardigan, Bumbleshop bracelets, Dorothy Perkins Kardashian Kollection bag, Primadonna heels)

It is no secret that I am totally in love with animal prints. Stunning patterns that encompass each prints are always unique and so splendid! Wearing printed patterns usually turn the heads of people and gain attention. I mean, who wouldn't notice a person who's wearing print-on-print-on-print right? This cardigan from Lemon is so relaxing to wear- I feel like I'm wearing my pajamas out! You know how some fabrics are just so comfortable that you'd want to wear it over and over again- or wear it when you're going to watch a movie or chill in Tagaytay, I felt that effect with this cardigan. Visually, it's magnificent when matching to other printed pieces too. These Krisp Collection top and leggings made the entire look very relaxed. And of course, these gold + violet give my ensemble that extra shine that was needed. BMS.

BW Kitty

(H&M hat, Lemon Shop top, Mauve necklaces, Dolce and Gabbana bag, Zara leggings, Crocs flats)

So I was lucky enough that the weather wasn't extremely cold this day in Ningbo so I didn't have to layer clothes anymore. I really love this Lemon Shop top because of the studded collar and the shoulder cut outs. It looks so trendy and classy at the same time- ironic right? I really lucked out when I found this top online before I left for China. I will never stop saying this- I love shopping online. The gold necklaces + silver studs make a great combination too! Wearing this top was perfect because I buttoned it all the way up so my neck won't feel cold. To make it look extraordinary, I wore this furry hat and boy did I love it. Now I'm gonna start collection hats like this. BMS.
Btw, thank you Dad for taking my photos! Hahaha. Effort di ba!

Hearts and Studs

(H&M hat, Island Girl necklace/ bangle, Lemon Shop top, Marc Jacobs bag, Trunk Show shorts, Primaluxe shoes)

It was a very windy day in Hong Kong. A VERY windy day. I just had to repeat it, kaloka kasi yung weather! It didn't stop me from taking an outfit shot though. I went to the top floor of IFC mall and took my photos there. It just stopped raining and I didn't know if it was gonna rain again so I wore a hat to protect me from the rain. To make this casual look a little bit different, I wore a mullet top (as usual) and paired it with very cute printed shorts. But the highlight of this look is actually my very comfortable Primaluxe flats. If you look at it, you might think it's painful because of the studs, but it's super not! I was so shocked when I tried it on because they're EXTRA snug. I think it's because of the blue suede fabric that makes it super relaxing to wear. I was sooo ready to attack IFC mall! BMS.

Embellishments

(Jhajing top, SM Accessories bangles, Extreme Finds rings, Lemon Shop shorts, Alexander Mcqueen heels)

I've never thought an all black outfit can look this funky- with the help of my embellished pieces of course. I really love how this top works: you can detach the pearl collar if you want it plain. Plus, it did match well with my cross necklace and shorts. This Lemon Shop shorts are so blingy I don't even need shiny accessories anymore. Another thing that's nice about it is the top part has a garter so it can fit any person perfectly.

Stairs

(Goody ouchless tie, Personalized Accessories necklace, Lemon Shop top, Gold Dot bracelets/ring, Givenchy bag, Fashion Galore shorts, High Style Fancy booties)

I don't know why but I find myself so attracted to these type of polos lately- I think it's because they're not like the usual plain ones. I love how this top from Lemon Shop has an extra layer of sheer fabric that makes it look extra sleek- and the fact that it's black and white makes it look extra classy. Whenever there's wind coming my way, I love it because it makes my look extra dramatic. Very emotera lang! Haha. I would love to wear this with a black pencil cut midi skirt, but it's just not my character so I made the entire look more colorful and fun. The detail of the shorts balanced my crisp top.
