Iron Fist

(Stylista.ph top, I.T. arm accessory, Kate Spade bag, Virgos Lounge skirt, Alexander Mcqueen heels)

Last week I attended the Magnum event, wherein they announced two new flavours- chocolate and strawberry and chocolate brownie. Believe me when I say chocolate brownie is now my new favorite. The event was filled with people and Azealia Banks flew in to perform! It was such a fun and amazing night for me. I decided to wear an outfit that's not my usual bright/ neon look. I wanted to wear something sleek and fun at the same time. Good thing I have this Stylista.ph backless top in my closet. It's such a stunning top- plain in front but has that peek-a-boo surprise at the back, balancing that sweet and edgy statement. It's really hard to find nice backless tops that suit me. I always check if the strings are loose or if the top is well made- and I can definitely say this one is perfect on me. You can tell it's made with love! It can be paired with a black skirt and can look like a classy dress right away! Black pieces will never be out of style. A classic black top with a twist is definitely amazing when paired with this colorful beaded skirt from Virgos Lounge. To pop up the entire look I wore an accessory that can everyone definitely noticed. Pano mo ba naman hindi to ma-no-notice eh every time I wave yan ang unang nakikita! Hahaha. BMS.

Futuristic

(The Ramp Crossings top and skirt, Kate Spade bag, SM Accessories ring, Ministry of Retail belt, Forever 21 heels)

Talk about being futuristic! I wore this to the the Mac I attended weeks ago. I don't even know how to explain this entire look, but I just fell in love with the whole ensemble. Shoulder pads really do make you look sleeker, plus skirts like these paired with a belt gives your body shape without any effort. BMS.

Shiny

(Extreme Finds earrings, Ministry of Retail top, Superb Finds rings, Extreme Finds bracelets, Kate Spade clutch, Korean brand shorts, Chick Flick shoes)

It feels so good that even if your clothes work for a certain purpose, they're still functional in a lot of ways (ex. skirt worn as a tube top or a loose tank worn as a dress). I love how I got this entirely beautiful (and oversized) fully sequined dress from Ministry of Retail and turned it into a top by using a belt. This was the perfect outfit to wear for the OMG awards I attended a few weeks ago because I wanted to be glamorous but laid back in a way- that's why I paired it with tattered shorts(if you want photos from the event, please check out Robbie's blog). I really think it's one of the best sequined pieces I have in my closet- this dress/top is impressive and incredible. Of course, I reserved these beautiful pair of Chick Flick pumps for the event too. I love the combination of the colors and the fact that it can be worn during the day/ night too is fantastic. Definitely a scene stealer. BMS.

Athlenetique Chic

(Extreme Finds necklaces, Stella McCartney for Adidas hoodie, Nike sports bra, Korean brand neon corset, Kate Spade clutch, Primadonna colored spike bangles, The Closet Goddess leggings, Jil Sander booties)

I always get excited when it's Preview Best Dressed ball- they have the trendiest theme and the event is always a blast. This year, the theme was athlenetique chic. Rather than asking a designer to make a dress for me, I challenged myself by just finding pieces in my closet. These pieces are actually the items I wear when I go to the gym, except for the neon corset. The first thing that came to my mind when I heard the theme? Neons- and you know how much I love neons, kaya and result? Neon overload! Hahaha. I left my camera intentionally because I knew I'd be having so much fun so I just took photos from my iphone and stole some Instagram pictures from friends like Raymond, Callum, Liz and more. Hope you like the photos!
I can't wait for next year's Preview Ball. BMS.

Be Bright

(SM Accessories necklaces/ ring, Gap tee and polo, Kate Spade bag, Korean brand shorts, Primadonna shoes)

For a laid back day, I love wearing loose tees and shorts. I think it's because I want to be as comfortable as I can if I don't have a lot to do that day. I layered it with a striped polo from Gap's guy section because I wanted to experiment how it will look like on a girl- and also how two striped tops would look when combined. Since the colors of my clothes are a bit relaxed, I chose to wear these bright Primadonna pumps.

Read more about this look on Stylebible's page HERE. It's actually part of their "Blogger Challenge" section. Know why I chose this tee, how you can style a tee in three cool ways and what my top five tees are. BMS.

Candy Style Awards

It was the first ever Candy Style Awards last week and I'm still in shock- thank you Candy Magazine for awarding me as one of the Style Stars. I started reading Candy when I was 14 and got my first feature at the age of 15. It was a tiny picture at the last page, wherein Candy fans can just send/email anything and the editors choose what to publish. I was extremely overwhelmed to see myself- and from then, I knew I wanted to be part of Candy- so I interned for them. They taught me how to write, style and even model! You can call me a proud Candy Girl.
*Special thanks to Celyn Jaravata for taking my photos and Jing Monis Salon/Juni Sierra for doing my hair and make up.*
I also got to meet my readers and chat with them for a bit- it was indeed a night full of fun and excitement. Here's what I wore to the event:
(Boosteeyay dress, TLTSN earrings, Kate Spade clutch, House of Luxe bangles, Feet for a Queen heels)

Baby Doll look. I really dressed girly for this event, I was even matching with their theme- pink! I just love how fluffy the bottom part of my dress was but to balance out the cuteness of my look, I wore these incredible bangles from House of Luxe. It's edgy but at the same time the colors still make it look chic. The spike bangles really made a huge effect, making my outfit more "me". BMS.
