It's All In The Back

(Sunpocket sunglasses, The Closet Goddess dress, SM Accessories bangles, Gravity Footwear heels)

You know how when people say "you are what you wear"? I love figuring out someone's personalty and how it translates into what you have on. This ensemble shows the different facets to my personality: classy and chic, but the moment I turn my back, it  shows you my edgy side. I love the crochet + spikes combination. Gravity Footwear has these outrageous glittered tie-ups with skewers at the back, that's incredibly treacherous, you'd feel like a fashionable villain. And by the way, my Sunpocket glasses pocket added a hint of color to my outfit. I love polarized sunnies. BMS.

Natural Luminosity

(Sugar Kissed bib necklace, vintage top, Eazy Fashion bangles, Hermes bag, The Closet Goddess skirt, Marni shoes)

This is the last look for the Stylista x Pantene campaign we did with Alex Carbonell. Like they say, save the best for last- this is my favorite look out of all four! This look from the F/W trend report is called Natural Luminosity- wherein the hair look is inspired by nature. Influenced by some of the textural finishes of the collection and in particular the grain of wood, you'll see lovely strokes and strands all curled up for the finished touch.  Because the look was inspired by nature, I decided to choose touches of brown like this necklace and bag. Since my hair is teased and tied, I made the look more classy by wearing an off shoulder dress turned top paired with this lovely peplum skirt from The Closet Goddess. The skirt definitely made the look more sophisticated and made the entire look work altogether. Very corporate, classy and chic.
You hair needs natural volume to execute this type of look- and the tricky part is it's supposed to be shiny and manageable still. You need a light shampoo and conditioner tandem to attain this. To achieve a look inspired by nature only means using products that are also inspired by nature: Pantene Nature Care Series. They help your hair bring out its natural feel- healthy and shiny. Check out my behind the scene shots and how Alex Carbonell achieved this look. I always love how smooth my hair is after a certain look- even if they remove all the pins and bands. So sad this is the last look I'll be sharing to you guys- hopefully there's more to come! BMS.

Athlenetique Chic

(Extreme Finds necklaces, Stella McCartney for Adidas hoodie, Nike sports bra, Korean brand neon corset, Kate Spade clutch, Primadonna colored spike bangles, The Closet Goddess leggings, Jil Sander booties)

I always get excited when it's Preview Best Dressed ball- they have the trendiest theme and the event is always a blast. This year, the theme was athlenetique chic. Rather than asking a designer to make a dress for me, I challenged myself by just finding pieces in my closet. These pieces are actually the items I wear when I go to the gym, except for the neon corset. The first thing that came to my mind when I heard the theme? Neons- and you know how much I love neons, kaya and result? Neon overload! Hahaha. I left my camera intentionally because I knew I'd be having so much fun so I just took photos from my iphone and stole some Instagram pictures from friends like Raymond, Callum, Liz and more. Hope you like the photos!
I can't wait for next year's Preview Ball. BMS.

Fun House

(Topshop hat, The Closet Goddess top, SM Accessories necklace, Style Staple shorts, Finch flats)

It was my first time going to Star City and I can't believe I had so much fun. Of course I couldn't really excessorize because people might think there's a wind chime beside them whenever I'm on rides. I opted for comfy clothes plus a hat (very magician lang ang peg ko) to have a statement piece. Also, remember my favorite gold highwaist shorts from Style Staple? Well I got them in this gunmetal color too- they're just too fashionable and comfy at the same time so I couldn't resist buying them in another color!

Attention Getter

(The Closet Goddess dress, House of Trois necklace, YSL pumps)

You don't need to excessorize or wear a striking dress to be an attention getter if you have a necklace this glamorous. I think this House of Trois necklace is the most beautiful accessory I have so far. It was love at first sight when I saw it online (here I go again with online shopping) and I knew I just had to own it right away. The color turquoise is so nice to look at and the design is just simply stunning. If you want to become effortlessly stylish, get this.
They actually have a trunk show tomorrow (March 24) from 3-7pm at the Kensington Place pool side function room (29th st. corner 1st Ave. Bonifacio Global City Taguig). Check out their wonderful accessories and for sure you won't regret buying because their pieces are absolutely breathtaking. BMS.
