Print Meets Ombre

(Seventeen top/ jacket/ jeans, Gold Dot bracelets, Belleza bag, Miu Miu heels)

Layering has always been associated with the holiday season, but layering for summer is an unconventional way of adjusting your outfit to your comfort, all depending on how you feel that day. Since it's been raining quite a bit these past few days, wearing a jacket is totally a must- it's to keep you warm and protected from the rain. It coats a thin layer on some extremely revealing pieces and continues to push boundaries of being confident of your best assets. Like these apparel I got from Seventeen, I love the prints and colors of this jacket and the ombre effect of my jeans. I also decided to wear this lovely neon pink bag from Belleza. This is probably the lightest big bag I've owned. My love for neons will never fade- and seeing this bag wherein it's eye catching and very useful, I just had to get it for myself. I love the fact that it looks slim, but it's very spacious inside and that you can put all your important things inside, even your laptop.
It has a summer touch, but the nicest part of it is I have a geometric pattern inside my jacket- and if I feel hot, I can just remove it and it'll still look nice. Plus, you can use the jacket as an extra toy to make the bag extra noticeable. The fabric is so comfy and light! I always find myself a huge fan of anything ombre, so when I saw this pair of pants, I just had to own it. I usually don't find jeans that fit me perfectly (and it's also hard to find jeans with nice prints/ style), so this one blew my mind off. It makes me feel like there's a bit of magic from bold up to its faded shade. I love how Seventeen by Cinderella made their summer collection really interesting and trendy.
By the way, I just wanted to remind you guys of Cinderella's summer promo. For a minimum purchase of P1,000, you get a raffle ticket plus instant freebies from them. Promo is only until May 31 so go shop now! BMS.

BWG

(H&M hat/ top, Gold Dot cardigan, Glazey Mode bracelets, Chloe bag, SheInside leggings, Alaia booties)

For those of you who like to push the boundaries of fashion (and prefer rocking a daring look rather than pastels and subdued clothes), then I have some pieces that you are going to love. Making a statement has never been easier with the current trend of eccentric and amazing accessories, like these accessories from Glazey Mode. They have some fab pieces and it's so amazing how wonderful it looks when all piled up. The colorful spikes + cross combination definitely made a statement. Combining colors and chains was a stroke of genius– ensuring everyone knows you’re not someone to be messed with! Naks! The colors also allow the pieces to go with a lot of my looks ensuring that I can wear it again and again! It definitely balanced my black-white-gray apparel. BMS.

Flagship

(Goody hair tie, Binky Doodles jacket, Sexy White Shirt top, Gold Dot bracelet, Dolcespressivo Shoppe shorts/ bag, Fantasia booties)

Matching can make or break your look. When choosing fashion accessories to match your outfit, consider the color, scale and style of the pieces, and keep the occasion in mind. When I saw this bag and shorts from Dolcespressivo Shoppe, I knew it will surely look adorable, especially that they're both matching. It was definitely the main components of my ensemble, so I worked my entire look around them. The bag looks so classy and chic, plus it can definitely be a statement piece for your entire get up. The shorts on the other hand looks more edgy- but ironically, they both look really good together. Lately, I found myself wearing plain shirts more often. When I don't have any events or meetings, I'm usually in a loose sweater or plain tee because they're really comfy. I got one from Sexy White Shirt and the fabric is so soft it gives me a breezy feeling and can also help extend my wardrobe because I can achieve multiple looks from one basic shirt just by changing my accessories, pants, shorts, hat, shoes, etc. BMS.

Neckplush

(Stylista PH neckplush, Cotton On top, Luminox watch, Balenciaga bag, IAAH shorts, Gold Dot bangle/ wedges)

A modern and urban take on a scarf- yep it's the neckplush I'm wearing on this post. I love it because it's something new and very useful for our weather. It's the start of Ber months already so I'm glad I got this one to keep me warm. I still remember last year, December-January were very breezy months for us! I just wore a plain top paired with black shorts because I don't really need to dress up that much or excessorize because this neckplush instantly adds character to a look! To finalize my look, these Gold Dot wedges are something else too- I love how they always customize shoes and think of very creative designs for their customers... just like Stylista PH's neckplush. Stairs

(Goody ouchless tie, Personalized Accessories necklace, Lemon Shop top, Gold Dot bracelets/ring, Givenchy bag, Fashion Galore shorts, High Style Fancy booties)

I don't know why but I find myself so attracted to these type of polos lately- I think it's because they're not like the usual plain ones. I love how this top from Lemon Shop has an extra layer of sheer fabric that makes it look extra sleek- and the fact that it's black and white makes it look extra classy. Whenever there's wind coming my way, I love it because it makes my look extra dramatic. Very emotera lang! Haha. I would love to wear this with a black pencil cut midi skirt, but it's just not my character so I made the entire look more colorful and fun. The detail of the shorts balanced my crisp top.

By the way, I know this is out of the topic but let me announce the winners for my Wacoal x BMS contest:
1st place: Divine Caraecle    2nd place: Vivian Aguilar    3rd place: Maria Cecilia Franco
Wacoal will just contact you guys directly for the prizes. Kudos to everyone who always join my giveaways, it's my way of saying thank you. BMS.

Bags and Polish

Bags are as important as our tops, bottoms and shoes. I feel naked without a bag because I put all my valuables there like my phone, wallet, perfume, etc. And of course, if there are statement heels- there are statement bags too. Check out these super cool and affordable bags/ clutches:
 Gold Dot oversized clutch
Don't you just love this futuristic-looking clutch? The fact that it's not colored gold or silver makes it 10x better. Use it during the day or night, for sure it'll definitely stand out.
 Miss Sartorial transparent bag
I've been dying to own one of these! I actually saw a Balenciaga bag similar to this- it had a black lining and everything else was transparent. Of course, I couldn't afford it so imagine my joy when I found this one! It's so cute especially if all your things are colorful inside.
Maris Online tote
Speaking of Balenciaga bags... This really caught my attention. I think this will be the perfect recycle bag for me. I don't really have to explain how clever this tote is. End of discussion.
 Mamasushi tribal clutch
I'm just a sucker for tribal prints- and I'm so thankful I now own this. It can make any simple outfit look young and funky. Plus the subtle bead work in the middle and strap makes it look more classy.
Of course, if you're going to be going out wearing a nice dress and a cute clutch, it'll be embarrassing if your nails aren't perfectly polished. I hate it when my nails aren't pretty. I think every girl will look extra pretty when they have polish on. It's actually very hard to find nice and reliable online stores that sell nice nail polish and I'm so thankful I found Polished, this online shop that sells the cutest nail polish colors ever. Okay, so you really can't see the colors in this photo (I tried being artsy lang haha) so I'm posting another one so you can see them clearly.
Polished nail polish (L-R):

OPI Holland collection- A Roll In The Hague. Brights is the way to go!
OPI Nicki Minaj Collection- Save Me. Glitter like blue/yellow/pink combination. The best I found so far.
OPI Nicki Minaj Collection- Did It On 'Em. Neon!!! Need I say more?
OPI Nicki Minaj Collection- Metallic 4 Life. For that futuristic vibe.
OPI classic collection- california raspberry. What I'm wearing right now. The color is so classic and sexy.

They don't only sell OPI- they have Essie, Zoya, China Glaze and other amazing nail polish. If you're a true nail polish addict, you'll definitely go crazy with the brand and colors they have. Don't you just love that "kilig" feel you get when you step out of the nail salon? I always show off my hands after haha. By the way, they actually have an ongoing contest now where you can win their China Glaze Magnetix Collection. Check it out HERE. Remember, beautify your nails. BMS.

Color Perfect

Do you know what I love about summer?
It's when you can wear shorts, tank tops, and preppy dresses not only because you want to show off your beautiful skin, but because you don't want the heat to kill you. Recently, whenever I dress up I always find myself revolving my look around prints, especially when they're as stunning and as outrageous as the pieces you see in these pictures:
My heart skipped a beat when I saw this neon printed silk top online- the colors/ prints in one piece is just jaw dropping. It never fails to make your look more fun and quirky. Bright pieces like this make you look fair, making you more radiant than usual. I actually have a lot of abstract tops like this now- perfect for summer!
Depending on the type of clothes you wear, some can actually make you look taller, thinner, etc. Some colors, on the other hand, can actually help make your skin look fairer, darker or lighter too. Because I'm wearing a bright orange top, my skin looks more radiant. Like in my outfit here, my pink wedges and red skirt highlighted my legs, making it look fairer and longer (aside from the fact that my wedges are 6 inches). You can also try wearing pleated short skirts to elongate your legs so you can show off your smooth skin.
(Goody tie, Jhajing necklace, Trendphile top & skirt, Gold Dot bracelets, Zara belt, Chanel bag, Vishoes wedges)

Combining bright pieces with just minimal accessories definitely highlighted my fair skin. Though I had just been to Boracay (and stayed under the sun for quite some time) my skin was well-protected from UV rays becauseI lathered sun block all over it. I also used Palmolive Naturals White and Moisture Soap to keep my radiant and fair skin alive. Would recommend you guys to try it- it has a formula with 100% natural Papaya and Songyi Mushroom Extracts that promises whiter skin in one week (based on mexameter instrumental reading, when used twice daily)Wearing colored pieces actually makes your skin more noticeable. This summer, don't be shy to show off your beautiful and fair skin.

American Flag

(Romwe hat/stockings, Personalized Accessories necklace, Mademoiselle top, Hailey & Five bracelets, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, Topshop shorts, Gold Dot wedges)

I wear make up almost everyday for shoots and taping, so when I get a free day- I really don't want to put a lot of make up on. The trick to look presentable? Put eyebrow pencil, eyeliner and mascara. So I guess you can say I look like an American flag- it just so happened that I wanted to work my outfit around the colors blue, red, white- and neon. The stripes of this Mademoiselle top is just perfectly uneven- I love it. The zig zag effect of the top actually gave justice to my entire look. Red is such a strong color, don't you think? Anyway, going on about uneven stripes- my Romwe stockings took it to another level. I can't really tell you how I organized this look, because to be honest- I didn't.

ANOTHER GIVEAWAY!!! Now speaking of Romwe, they just sent me a special email saying they'll be giving one backless shift dress, $50 freebies and a secret gift to one lucky fan! All you have to do it SIGN UP on Romwe (so they'll know where to send the freebies) and tweet your friends to share the news! Just comment below with your email address and the link you tweeted. Contest will end on June 6. Thank you, Romwe! BMS.
